First things first, I’m a girl so I have to get this out of the way. I absolutely love the clothes Blake Lively is wearing in this photo shoot. That first dress type thing? Gorgeous. I’d actually wear that although to be fair, I’d be wearing it with skinny jeans or something like that. Blake is a gorgeous young woman who has a bright career ahead of her if she continues to make smart career choices. I have to admit however, that I’m just a little bit jealous of her love life. Leonardo DiCaprio and then Ryan Reynolds? Not too bad, Blake. Not too bad at all!

So not too long ago, pictures surfaced of Blake Lively with Leonardo DiCaprio just after his split from Bar Refaeli. Apparently the two had started dating. I’m not really sure what to think of that. While Blake is a gorgeous girl with great style and even talent, Bar Refaeli is, well Bar Refaeli. Need I say more. I like Blake though. Star of “Gossip Girl” the new movie “Savages”, Blake is one of the few actresses of her generation that I think has a real shot at long term stardom. While you can’t really tell from these pictures, when she’s all done up for the red carpet, she has a very glamorous, old Hollywood style that I think could help her earn respect over some of the other actresses her age more content to just show off skin. I’m rooting for her.

I know I’m going to take a lot of heat about this one but I’m going to go ahead and say it anyway. I don’t get the big deal about Blake Lively. I want to like her. I honestly do. I like her style and I think she’s a very talented actress. I haven’t seen the second ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ movie, but I liked the first one. I loved her in ‘Accepted’ and ‘The Private Lives of Pippa Lee’ is one of my favorite movies. I guess I do like her, in theory, but I just don’t find her all that attractive; especially in these pictures. Here at the Croisiere Show, Chanel Collection, she looks cute – I’ll even say pretty, but I just don’t think she’s the stunning creature many folks are making her out to be. I’m sure I’m missing something. I usually am.

If I had to choose my biggest problem with who I am as a person, it would be that I’m too honest. While that might sound like a cop out ‘job interview’ answer it’s true. Honesty gets me in trouble sometimes. I fear this may be one of those times. I don’t like Blake Lively. She she’s hot and she has gorgeous legs, but there’s really nothing about her that grabs my attention. She kind of reminds me a bit of Kate Hudson. I love Kate Hudson but the entertainment industry already has one of those. Do we need another? Maybe I just need to give her more of a chance. As it stands, though, I’m not sure I can see her being a name we hear around Hollywood for much longer. I do like the name Blake though. At least there’s that.

Blake Lively, here on the set of Gossip Girl, is a budding fashion diva and with good reason. Blake personifies the new grace in Hollywood; the younger set who are breaking away from their trashier peer and doing something more unique. She carries herself with easy poise and elegance. She’s not afraid to be sexy but knows she doesn’t have to flaunt her body every chance she gets to prove herself. The rest of young Hollywood could take notes from this one. Sure she has a stylist who probably chooses every outfit Blake wears carefully, but kudos to Blake for having the kind of confidence needed to pull off the look. In certain circles, Blake isn’t talked about as much as the Momsens and the Cyruses of the world, but in a few years, Blake’s name will still be relevant while some of her more overtly sexualized peers will have to work much harder to stay in the spotlight. Sex only sells for so long before a younger, hotter poptart steals the show.

Gossip Girl co- stars, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley was spotted relaxing together on the balcony of their penthouse just before the Miami Super Bowl. Blake Lively was enjoying the Florida sunshine wearing a small string bikini kissing her Gossip girl co-star Penn. There was another of their co-stars, Chace Crawford with the couple, who seen throwing coins into the sea. Later Blake said that she doesn’t do any dieting or exercise to keep her body in shape. The two have been in a relationship since the first time they fell for each other at the sets of Gossip Girl, long back in 2007.
