I love Carmen Electra and I almost always think she looks fantastic but I’m not crazy over these photos. It’s weird. It’s really weird. I think she looks great and all but I’m just kind of bored. When I see Carmen’s name pop up on my assignment list, I always get super excited. Such was the case with this set of photos. When I opened the photos, I didn’t get more excited. I have to take full responsibility for that. Carmen looks great but I’m just not feeling these photos. It happens, I suppose. It just doesn’t typically happen with Carmen. I guess it’s probably the setting. I get excited over some candid shots like these ones but it takes a little something special to make that happen and in all honesty, there just isn’t really anything special about these shots. Sorry Carmen. I’m sure you’ll get me next time.

Here’s a little something you probably don’t need to know about me. I’ve been spoiled. All through May and June, we’ve had unseasonably cool weather. It’s been a little rainy and gray for my taste but I have been careful not to complain about the temperature because I knew it was far cooler than it should have been at this time of the year. All of that came to a screeching halt yesterday afternoon when the warm weather hit. Good heavens – it’s so freaking hot. I’m typing this in my bra and panties and it’s still too freaking hot. Why write all of this? Because this heat is making me cranky and clearly crazy. How can I be so sure of this? Easy. I looked at these photos of Carmen Electra and I didn’t fall in love with them immediately. That almost never happens with Carmen photos. She’s one of my all time favorite female celebrities and one of my biggest girl crushes. How could I not be in love with these photos? I’m heat crazy, that’s why. It’s the only logical explanation I can come up with.

Yeah, so I’m not great with colors. So what? I’m good at other things – like telling how hot Carmen Electra looks in this body hugging number in Las Vegas. People can say whatever they want about Carmen. I will always love this lady. I mean that. I will always love her. She’s just the kind of woman I find so incredibly sexy. She has the killer body, the pretty face and the fun personality that just speaks to me in such a big way. Plus, she knows how to look good in front of the camera. It doesn’t matter if she’s walking the red carpet, as she is here, or posting for a photo shoot. This lady just knows what people want to see and she isn’t afraid to give it to them. As most of you probably know, I’m a little hot and cold when it comes to Carmen Ortega. I’ve seen some absolutely stunning photos of her and I’ve seen other photos I didn’t like quite as much. These photos fall into the later category. She looks good, sure, but I don’t know. There’s just something about this set I’m not really feeling. Her body, as always, is incredible but there’s something going on here that I’m not crazy about. Perhaps I’m not really feeling the poses she’s striking here. Maybe it’s something about the way her hair and makeup has been done. In any event, these aren’t my favorite Carmen Ortega photos but they’re not really bad photos by any stretch of the imagination. They’re just not my cup of tea.

There are a few women I know are always going to look incredible each and every time I see their name on my assignment list. Carmen Electra is one of those women. I have been in love with this woman for almost 15 years now and she hasn’t gotten any less attractive in all that time. I’m sure she’s had a little help warding off Father Time but she doesn’t look too ‘worked on’ to still be attractive. Here at the This is the End premiere in Los Angeles, Carmen is looking flawless, as she always does. I love the gown. I love the hair. I love the makeup. I just flat out love this woman. Has she had a nip here and a tuck there? Probably, but I don’t care. She still looks like herself and that’s all that matters to me.

I need to take a moment to comment on one thing about these photos that popped out at me right away – something that has nothing to do with how hot Carmen Electra looks in them. Carmen Electra and Samuel Larsen? Really? How did that happen? Of course, these photos don’t really mean anything is going on between them but if there is something to the rumor, that just seems so weird to me. Last I heard, Carmen was seeing Simon Cowell. While that also struck me as a bit odd, this pairing would be far stranger. I haven’t been as into Glee over the last few seasons but I remember Samuel’s time on the show very well. He was one of my favorite newcomers and I felt the show wasted his talents. I have to say though, if these pictures from a nightclub in Hollywood tell the story they seem to tell, I have only one thing to say to both Samuel and Carmen – well freaking done.
