I know there are a lot of people out there who aren’t exactly loving Katy Perry’s blue hair but I’m still a pretty big fan of the look on her. I love a woman who isn’t afraid to stand out and so something different and I really think Katy pulls off the blue tresses brilliantly. The dress she’s wearing as she leaves her hotel in Paris? Well, I’m not sure I’m such a big fan of that. I like the shade but I’m not sure I understand the style of the dress. Why the see through skirt? I guess that’s the style these days but just because it’s trendy doesn’t mean it looks good. I suppose it’s up to Katy though and regardless of how I feel, Katy looks to feel pretty good enough her choice.

I like Angela Simmons. I don’t know what it is about her exactly that I like about her. She’s really mostly well known for being Joseph Simmons’ (legendary musician and producer, Rev Run) daughter and appearing on his reality show, “Run’s House” but for some reason, the fact that she’s really only famous for having a famous father doesn’t really bug me that much with Angela. Perhaps that’s because she’s taken her time in the spotlight and tried to do something positive with it. First, she along with sister, Vanessa, design shoes for their “Pastry” shoe collection but beyond that, Angela also edits “Angela’s Rundown”, a monthly magazine that targets teenagers and discusses issues facing them. I think that’s really important. She seems like a good role model for the most part. Here in Miami, Angela shows off part of why I think she’s someone young girls can look up to. Sure she’s showing a lot of skin, but she’s showing it on the beach and I’ve got no problem with that. What stands out more for me though is the fact that she just looks so comfortable and casual. It doesn’t look to me like a trip to the beach is a press op for Angela. I like that and I respect that. I think there are big things in this girl’s future.

Sorry folks, I just didn’t see the Jennifer Lopez nip slip everyone seems to be talking about today. Jennifer is laughing off the reports, claiming she was too tightly packed into her dress for anything to pop out and I suppose I believe her. I don’t think it really matters. In my always humble opinion, Jennifer was the best dressed lady at the Oscars this year. Sexy but yet classy – she stole the show although I have to admit Cameron Diaz isn’t looking to shabby either. I’ve always admired Cameron’s laid back style but she definitely knows how to glam it up as well. I love that she and Jennifer got to present together at the 84th Annual Academy Awards. They make a striking pair. For me, this was one of the best moments of the show.

Until “American Horror Story” I wasn’t terribly familiar with Connie Britton. I knew she had some success in acting and had a fairly sizable fan base – enough that I’d heard her name quite often – but hadn’t seen much of her work myself. Then “American Horror Story” came along and I fell in love. While Vivian wasn’t really my favorite character on the show (that honor would have to be split between Constance and Tate), Connie’s portrayal of Vivian was award worthy. I’m a little surprised to see these pictures of Connie chilling out by the pool at the Four Seasons in the Caribbean. I guess I so closely associate her with her character, it’s weird to see her in such a normal setting. She looks incredible though. Who would’ve guessed she has such a great body. She also looks like she’s having a great time. I love this woman. I can’t wait to see where her post AHS career takes her.

A lot of people like to say that going braless is classless and trashy. I like to think that these photos of Kate Upton in Beverly Hills prove otherwise. Kate looks absolutely beautiful – relaxed, casual and yet still classy and perhaps even sophisticated. Her shoes? Those things are incredible. I have a serious shoe fetish and the ones she’s wearing in these photos appear to me on all levels. What really strikes me about these pictures is that the fact that she’s not wearing a bra is really just a sort of an after thought. The real star of these pictures is Kate herself and her fashion sense. While she’s known for her work as a model, it’s nice to see she looks just as good without a team of people putting her look together. I’m thrilled to see how much success she’s been having as of late and hope it continues.

I love Helen Flanagan. I really, honestly do. I think she’s a very pretty, very talented girl. Because of the love I have for her, this is going to be a very hard post to write. What in the heck is going on with this girl? The other day, I wrote about a set of photos in which Helen was wearing a very low cut, form fitting dress, but it actually looked nice on her. This one? I don’t even know what to say. It looks so trashy. Her breasts are practically completely exposed, her hair is a mess and her eyes? What is going on with her eyes? Fashion missteps are one thing but it’s hard not to worry something else is going on here. She looks a complete mess. I’m hoping everything’s okay.
