Jennifer Lopez was stunning in her gold colored backless dress. Lopez put up a good show at the Golden Globes Awards ceremony, despite instigating rumors in her marriage by not wearing her wedding ring. Marc Anthony presented a new look with his eye glasses. Anthony looked almost severe, like a professor. Lopez was supposedly demonstrating her objection at her marriage which had a strong dominance by Anthony. There may be nothing substantial in the rumors as both celebrities are new parents and may be shifting the equilibrium in their relationship as they practice being new parents.

Jennifer Lopez was on a short break as she accompanied Marc Anthony on his European tour. They stayed in a villa off Portofino. These bikini pictures were snapped on July 4. J. Lo and Marc Anthony were with their friend, fashion designer Stefano Gabbana. J. Lo had gained more than 3 stones while she was pregnant less than 5 months ago. Now, she has shed all that weight and looked fantastic in her bikini pictures. Marc said he brought his entire family with him to inspire him.

So “American Idol” producers have foolishly ignored my suggestion to bring Avril Lavigne on as a judge for the show’s next season. They chose Mariah Carey instead. I’m going to go ahead and call that a massive mistake. Mariah is a nutcase – a talented nutcase, but a nutcase none the less. Crew members have said she was a nightmare to work with during her stint as a guest mentor a few seasons back. The same crew members have said Jennifer Lopez was a delight. I’m not sure what they would say about Avril, but I guess we’ll never know. None of that matters though. What matters is the fact that Avril Lavigne is on vacation in Mexico which means we can expect at least another set – maybe more – of gorgeous Avril Lavigne bikini pictures similar to this one. I can’t complain about that. I think Avril is gorgeous. More than that, she’s unique. She does things her own way – her hair for example – and I think that’s just fantastic. I think she would’ve been a great judge but hey, can’t win ’em all, I suppose.

So, I keep having this recurring dream that I’m Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant which is weird for two reasons. One: I’m not a big Kim Kardashian fan. Two: I’ve never personally assisted anyone or had the desire to do so. Still, that’s what my subconscious mind is coming up with. Perhaps that’s my career in some alternate reality. Perhaps I just read online gossip before bed far too often. Regardless, my sleeping self’s boss looks fabulous in these pictures from Miami. Like Jennifer Lopez, Christina Hendrix and Beyonce, Kim has always showed that it’s perfectly fine for a woman to be curvy and entirely possible for a curvy women to look sexy. While I think there are people out there more deserving of the name recognition Kim has, she definitely knows how to rock a bikini and in today’s celebrity culture, that’s all some women really need to do. At least she looks healthy while she does it.
