Sometimes Rihanna is just too much. I love her to bits but she’s almost too beautiful for me to stand. I love seeing her relaxed and that seems to be exactly how she feels in this set of photos. She’s a beautiful woman but what I think I love most about her is her attitude. While she sometimes gets herself in trouble for the things she says or the things she does, she doesn’t seem like the type of person that lets criticism get her down and I admire that. Rihanna is who she is and she doesn’t apologize for that. She doesn’t seem willing to change that either, despite the fact that sometimes she loses contracts or endorsement opportunities because of how she presents herself. I get the feeling that what we see is what we get with this woman and in a business that is often obsessed with being PC and putting out the image that sells the most records, I find Rihanna’s realness refreshing. Plus, she looks killer in a bikini.

Selena Gomez is a beautiful young woman who really seems to know who she is and what she wants out of her career. I think that’s admirable for someone so young. She seems to have the whole fame thing under control which is important for a young woman in the spotlight. Such overwhelming attention at such a young age can definitely lead to problems and I think Selena is doing a fairly good job of avoiding that. In these photos, Selena is looking like her usual lovely self. I’m sure a lot of people are going to have a thing or two to say about that first photo, but she seems pretty cautious when it comes to showing so much and really, there are few better ways to avoid tan lines. What an adorable girl. I can’t wait to see what her future holds. Hopefully nothing but great things.

It’s about time I had the chance to write about Natalie Zea. I have been a big fan of this woman since she took over for Liza Huber (whom I also love) on “Passions” way back in 2000. While I stopped watching “Passions” shortly after Natalie signed on (terrible, terrible show even for a soap), I have kept track of Natalie over the years. I loved her on “Dirty Sexy Money”, “Hung”, “Person of Interest” and “Californication” but it’s really her role on “Justified” that has me most excited. First, I love the show. Second, I love her character on the show. Third, I love her and I love seeing her do well. As far as I’m concerned, this role is long overdue but I’m thrilled she has it all the same. She’s beautiful and talented. Hopefully this is just the first of many big things to come for her.

I’m not sure I’ve mentioned this recently, so just in case I haven’t, I’ll say it again. I freaking love Carmen Electra. She’s sexy, confident and doesn’t really seem to take herself too seriously. I think the last two qualities are really what sets her so far apart from many of the other women who do what Carmen does. She has a killer body and she knows it but she also doesn’t seem too stuck on herself. She doesn’t walk around with an “I’m Carmen Electra and I own you” sort of attitude and that’s so appealing. She kind of reminds me of Jenny McCarthy in that way. I’m sure there are those that disagree with me, but these photos (taken in LA) only serve to reinforce that belief in my mind. She just has such an ease about her and she carries herself so well. It’s nice to see photos like these of her. They’re more casual and give me an idea of what Carmen is like when she’s not in front of the camera. I adore her and it’s always a pleasure to write about her.

You might not believe this, but the girl in these photos from Woodland Hills is Amanda Bynes. Remember Amanda TV shows like “The Amanda Show”, “All That” and “What I Like About You” and movies like “Big Fat Liar”, “What A Girl Wants”, “She’s the Man”, “Hairspray” and most recently (one of my favorites), “Easy A”? What happened to this girl? Sure she looks kinda cute here but this isn’t the Amanda I’m used to seeing. I don’t have a problem with a woman playing around with her look but when you consider the changes along side her legal problems (the DUI and hit and run allegations are especially troubling) you might get a picture of a girl who is in need of help. Get help before things get worse. I don’t want to see Amanda go the way of so many young women before her. Maybe I’m worrying about nothing but when police get involved on a regular basis, it might be time to reconsider your recreational activities.

First things first, Ashley Tisdale looks fantastic in these photos. I’m not generally a fan of super short shorts and whatnot but I actually kind of think they work with the stockings (leg warmers?) she’s wearing here. I don’t really get the point but it looks good so I’m going to let the lack of logic of this outfit pass. What really excites me about these pictures though is the fact that they serve as a reminder that in less than one month, “Sons of Anarchy” will be back on the air. It seems like a guest stint on a show like “SOA” is a weird career move for Miss. Tisdale, but I think it’s a smart one. She’s introducing herself to a whole new audience and branching out into new territory. I, for one, can’t wait to see what she does. I also can’t wait for the new season of “SOA” to start. Best show on television? Yes.
