As a Canadian, I always feel the need to like Canadian celebrities. It’s a country pride thing. I’m proud to be Canadian and I’m proud of the talent Canada produces. Then there’s Jayde Nicole. Why do I have a problem with her and not Pam Anderson? I can’t quite explain it, to be honest. Jayde is pretty and mostly famous for her Playboy pictorials for which she was named Playmate of the Year in 2008. Pam is pretty and mostly famous – well, okay, Pam’s famous for more than just Playboy but most of it involves being either naked or scantily clad. There’s just something about Jayde that rubs me the wrong way. Perhaps it was falsely accusing Joe Francis (of Girl’s Gone Wild Fame) of punching her in the face. I hate women who lie about things like that. It makes it harder for women who are actually the victims of violence at the hands of men have a harder time proving it. Low.

What’s black and white and cute all over? Emmy Rossum. Seriously guys, this girl is just adorable. I love her to pieces. She isn’t one of those girls you look at and wanna do filthy things to. She’s one of those girls. She’s one of those girls you want to hug and maybe get a glass of milk with cookies for. Yes. She’s hot. She’s very hot. She’s even started taking it all off for the camera (see her incredible performance in Showtime’s ‘Shameless’) but she still has that adorable vibe. That’s why I love her. Even while performing in these crazy sex scenes with her boobs out, she still looks cute. Not an easy task to pull off.

Remember when Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar made out in Cruel Intentions? Wasn’t that hot? That was before any woman looking for more attention would make out with her friends in public and any movie looking for a little extra press would throw in a lesbian scene. Now the scene seems kind of tame. It was hot at the time though, right? Selma Blair. I know she hasn’t always been in the biggest movies, but I’ve always loved her. She’s different. Love the dark hair and the pale skin and I love the fact that she’s cool with hitting the beach in a bikini even though she’s pregnant. Selma does her own thing and that’s what I love about her so much.

I know a lot of people say women looking for a little publicity boost will flash their panties ‘on purpose’. I don’t think that’s always the case. Wearing a short skirt and getting in a car can be a little difficult without flashing a little something. I really think that was the case with Paulina Rubio. She doesn’t seem entirely aware her underwear is showing and one has to assume, had she been planning this, she would’ve chosen something a little sexier to flash. Paulina is known for her sexy performances. These panties just don’t fit in with her rep. Who knows, though? Anything’s possible these days.

Just the other day, I was asking myself whatever happened to Hilary Duff. I was watching my old Punk’d DVDs and saw her appearance. Hilarious. Anyway, I heard she got married or something. I don’t really care anymore. She had her moments, but the Duffster was never one of my favorites. That said, she looks incredible in Paris. I love a celeb who can rock the more natural look and still look confident. Of course she has every reason to look confident. Plus her ass looks fantastic. Hard to find anything to complain about with this girl. She’s a class act and managed to stay someone wholesome while her peers went off the rails. Major respect to the girl for that.

Kate Bosworth is hot so who cares if she’s wearing shorts that look like she may have inadvertently sat on a Smurf – or a few Smurfs or Smurves, maybe? What is the plural for Smurf? Anyway, Kate’s kind of really gorgeous but I can’t help wondering what happened to her career. I’ve liked her in everything I’ve seen her in, but when I really think about it, that’s only really been a few different things. I suppose that matters about as much as the proper plural form of ‘Smurf’ considering how hot she is. Sure she really doesn’t have an ass to speak of, but one can’t be too picky. Her legs are ridiculous so if the ass doesn’t please you, look a little lower.
