Leave it to recovering addict and “Freaky Friday” star Lindsay Lohan to create quite a ruckus at Cannes without really being AT the Cannes Festival. La Lohan, along with her lesbian friend and slew of assistants and bodyguards, went shopping for clothes in sexy clothes! The tan outfit Lindsay wore accentuated her prominent breasts and long legs. Lindsay also wore flats (gasp!) and looked a bit irritated at the paps. Maybe because she wants to lead a normal life?
Penelope Cruz posed for paparazzi during the photocall for “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.†This was Woody Allen’s fall film. Its cast included Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, and Javier Bardem. This was a story about a sex romp featuring three people. The romantic comedy started with Penelope playing a woman drawn to two men. Then, it became a love triangle with Penelope, Scarlett Johansson and Javier Bardem. There was a lesbian kissing scene with Penelope and Scarlett sharing their passion for each other.
Tara Reid and her boyfriend were in Miami to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach. Tara looked lovely. Last year, she was in the news for hosting some parties that paid poorly. People wondered if Tara would be picking up her modeling and acting career again. Her presence in Hollywood was a little low key. Her next movie that was set to hit the big screen would be Land of Canaan. That would be out in July 2008.
Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie performed at the Sunfest. This Sunfest was an annual affair. It was a local and international music and art festival. Various countries around the world have their own Sunfests too. Artistes and non-musicians mingled freely and enjoyed the cultural activities. Visitors got their rare chances to see their celebrities up close and personal. These festivals were warm and fun to attend as the visitor experienced the intensity of the cultural scenes.
Amy Smart was on the set of the movie Crank. She had the role of Chev’s girlfriend. She had a crazy sex scene with her co-star, played by Jason Statham. The plot said that Chev was poisoned and he needed to keep his adrenalin level high. So he and his girlfriend had to do a sexy act in front of hundreds of people in Chinatown. Amy said that filming for that was very funny because the extras would cheer everytime the director cut the film.
