I’ve always kind of been back and forth on Leighton Meester. I think she’s pretty but I don’t always think she’s an absolute knockout. These photos only add to the confusion. I love some of them and others? Not so much. It’s not even like it’s a big collection. I love the first photo. I think her pose is fantastic but the rest of them are fairly hit or miss, at least for me anyway. With 2012 coming to an end and Leighton’s “Gossip Girls” done for good, I can’t help wondering what 2013 holds for her. Hopefully nothing but great things. Leighton’s had a tough go of it. It’s be nice to see more good things happen for her.

Heez, maybe the world really is ending because here we have a set of photos of Kesha that she doesn’t look terrible in. Who would’ve guessed? I know there are people out there who think Kesha is a stunning woman who gets more and more gorgeous all the time, but I don’t happen to be one of them. She bugs me. I don’t think she’s all that attractive but more than that, her recent lyrics scandal has made me think she’s also spineless. After a tragedy like the one at Newton, Connecticut, songs that once barely raised eyebrows suddenly seem offensive or at least insensitive. Such is the case with Kesha’s “Die Young” which was pulled from radio stations across the US following the elementary school shooting tragedy. The song features the lyrics “Let’s make the most of the night like we’re gonna die young/We’re gonna die young/We’re gonna die young” which probably wasn’t considered insensitive at all until twenty children were murdered in their classrooms. Even so, in light of the tragedy, they came across that way and it was decided it was best to pull the single from radio stations for a while. Other artists had their singles pulled as well. None of those artists responded the way Kesha did. She took to Twitter and said she was “forced” to sing the lyrics, odd considering only a short time earlier, she said she was proud of writing her own lyrics and said she would never sing something she didn’t believe in. She’s since backtracked, saying her Tweets were the result of feeling emotional about the tragedy. I don’t believe her. I think she was faced with a tough situation and decided to be a coward, trying to pin the blame on someone else. Here’s the deal though. If that shooting hadn’t happened, no one would’ve batted an eyelash at those lyrics. It would’ve been better for Kesha to choose not to comment or to try to understand where radio stations were coming from. After something like Newton happens, there is a lot of shock, anger and sadness. Try to understand that and handle the situation with grace instead of coming off like an insensitive, whiny brat. Anyway, that’s my rant for the day.

So Helen Flanagan went to the James Milner Foundation Ball in Manchester and decided to wear what I have to assume was intended to be a child’s Halloween costume or possibly, a child’s costume for a beauty pageant or dance recital. On a child, it would look adorable. On a full grown woman, it just looks ridiculous. The only thing I don’t hate about this entire outfit is her shoes. The hair would probably be nice if she didn’t choose to wear it like this with this particular outfit. It looks like she’s paired a ballerina bun with a child’s ballerina costume and is attempting to be sexy in it. No. It just doesn’t work. On any level. I don’t get it and now I have a headache. Earlier, I spoke about what a great day this was shaping up to be thanks to bikini shots of Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton but alluded to some possible low points. I was referring, of course, to seeing Heidi Montag’s name on my assignment list. Imagine my surprise when I opened the post, saw the pictures and realized the photos I was going to be writing about were really the only pictures of Heidi Montag I’ve ever actually liked – photos from Heidi Montag’s Playboy pictorial. One thing always bugs me about these photos though. That is, of course, the fact that she decided not to bother actually getting naked. She cited her religious beliefs for her reasoning behind keeping the fun bits covered but I have to call shenanigans on that. When a woman poses for Playboy, one assumes the woman will be getting naked. When they buy the magazine, they expect to get what they paid for. Don’t want to get naked? Fine. Pose for Maxim. Regardless, I think the photos are gorgeous and Heidi looks incredible in them. I just think they would’ve been better suited for another publication.

I was wondering if I’d have to write about these photos and now, here we are. I’m writing about them, you’re reading about them and Anne Hathaway is out there somewhere shaking her head at all of us. She doesn’t get why her crotch shots are such a big deal. To be honest, I don’t really either. It’s not like you can see full vag. It’s just a little puff of hair. I’m far more impressed by the rest of the photos from the Les Miserables premiere, New York. Anne looks fabulous. I love the dress. I love the shoes and while I prefer her longer hair, I do like the shorter hair as well. I think this is a beautiful, classy woman – crotch shots or not.

I know these pictures are a bit outdated now but who cares? Miley Cyrus is on stage with a stripper and she seems to be enjoying the show. I dunno, guys. I like the stripper Miley brought in to perform with her at Borgore’s Christmas Creampies Concert in Hollywood but I’m not sure how festive it is and I’m not sure I’m loving Miley’s look. Maybe the stripper could’ve worn a Santa hat or something or even worn a red and green thong. And Miley … I’m just not sure. I still like the shorter hair but I’m not sure about the outfit. It doesn’t seem exactly flattering. Ah well, they can’t all be winners.
