If there’s anyone who looks good in fishnet stockings, I guess that’s Lady Gaga. This American singer-songwriter, who’s being compared to diva Christina Aguilera in terms of similar “looks and style,” is really gaining ground not only for the success of her debut album called “The Fame” but also for her eclectic yet fashionable style. What do you think of the new so-called “electronica princess”? Does she send electronic shockwaves across your spine?
Rihanna performed a few songs at MTV VMA 2008 on Sept. 7. She was paired with T.I. for one song. During the dress rehearsal, Chris Brown accompanied Rihanna on stage to send her there. Brown sent a strong signal to T.I. and the rest of the stage hands. RiRi looked simply ravishing in her saucy dominatrix get-ups. Those fishnets must be doing the trick.
Chanelle Hayes had mixed reactions when she went on stage to sing her single. In Warrington, a few club patrons threw bottles at her. Chanelle was not discouraged. She said that she would work harder. In Rotherham, she had a warmer welcome. Nobody booed at her. Have you heard her song? The background music used lots of synthesizers and it sounded like a dance music song.
We post a lot of upskirt shots around these parts so I have to say, it’s kind of nice to see a lady avoiding one every once and again. I think Katherine Jenkins is a beautiful, talented woman and more than that, I think she’s a classy woman. These pictures are just another great example of that. While there was that incident with her bare butt on national television a while back, I really do think that was a wardrobe issue, not an issue of class. I’m not sure I love the outfit she’s wearing as she’s leaving Mahiki Club in London, but it does flatter her nicely by showing off her gorgeous legs. Plus, I am a sucker for a woman in fishnets.
It’s been a little while since I’ve had the opportunity to gush about Rihanna so I’m a pretty happy girl right now. I know not everyone that comes here is a Rihanna fan and I sometimes take a little crap for talking about how much I like her but I’m an honest girl and I honestly love Rihanna. Here performing at her Loud Tour in Brazil, Rihanna looks incredible. I love the outfit and I love the way she moves on stage. Aside from all that, I have always been a big fan of a pretty girl in fishnets, especially a pretty girl in fishnets with no pants to speak of. Way to bring it, Rihanna.
I never know what to say about Eliza Doolittle. I love this girl. She’s absolutely adorable and more importantly, to me anyway, she’s unique. She sort of does here own thing and I appreciate that. Here in North London, she’s hit the town sporting short shorts (hot pants? I don’t know what they’re called) and fishnets. I don’t love the look but for some reason, I like it on her. If you’re familiar with my posts here, you know I’m not a big fan of high waisted shorts/pants/skirts but I can forgive them on Eliza because somehow she makes them work. I don’t really think she’s ‘hot’, at least not in the traditional sense of the term, but is instead adorable and I think that’s what appeals to me the most about her.
