The plot has been described as similar to “Sex In The City.” Meg Ryan played Mary Haines, the traditional wife in Connecticut. Eva Mendes played a party girl in New York, who entertains Mary Haines’ husband. Eva Mendes looked beautiful in her sexy lingerie on the set of “The Women.”

Cheryl Cole brought her protégé, Alexandra Burke, the X Factor winner, out to dinner at the Wolseley restaurant in London. Burke and Cole looked beautiful in their evening wear. Cole retained a protective hold over Burke as she steered her away from the paparazzi. Burke has shown herself to be a diligent pupil. She dropped about 6 dress sizes as she went from size 14 to size 8. Burke said she has promised herself to stay single for the next 10 years as she tries to build up a career.

The pair had a wonderful Monday afternoon on Flamands Beach in St. Barthelemy. Seymour’s husband, Peter Brant, a publisher and real estate developer, was probably out with their son, Harry. Seymour and her family were enjoying a short break before she is thrust into the limelight again. We’ll be seeing Seymour as the new face of Valentino in the Spring/ Summer 2009 campaign.
