A few months back, I posted about former “Cheetah Girl” Adrienne Bailon. At the time, I said I didn’t know much about her. Since then … well, not much has changed. I still only really know that she’s been on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and was a member of the girl group “Cheetah Girls” but beyond that, she’s pretty much a mystery to me. That doesn’t mean I don’t like her, I suppose. It just means I don’t have enough information to form an opinion either way. In these photos from NYC, Adrienne is wearing what appears to be (but probably isn’t) a leather mini dress. Full disclosure: I kind of suck at the whole fashion thing so my descriptions of outfits are usually way off. You can see the dress. You know what I’m talking about. Anyway, I think it’s a bold choice and probably not one I would have made but when compared with some of the other outfits I’ve posted about lately, it’s pretty tame. It looks nice on her. I still don’t think I’d recognize her in photos if her name wasn’t listed in the caption but I’m getting more familiar with her. I hear she has big things on the horizon, so perhaps the name Adrienne Bailon will soon be more well known and I can’t write a little more about her in these posts. Or maybe not. Time will tell, I suppose.

Sometimes Rihanna is just too much. I love her to bits but she’s almost too beautiful for me to stand. I love seeing her relaxed and that seems to be exactly how she feels in this set of photos. She’s a beautiful woman but what I think I love most about her is her attitude. While she sometimes gets herself in trouble for the things she says or the things she does, she doesn’t seem like the type of person that lets criticism get her down and I admire that. Rihanna is who she is and she doesn’t apologize for that. She doesn’t seem willing to change that either, despite the fact that sometimes she loses contracts or endorsement opportunities because of how she presents herself. I get the feeling that what we see is what we get with this woman and in a business that is often obsessed with being PC and putting out the image that sells the most records, I find Rihanna’s realness refreshing. Plus, she looks killer in a bikini.

It’s about time I had the chance to write about Natalie Zea. I have been a big fan of this woman since she took over for Liza Huber (whom I also love) on “Passions” way back in 2000. While I stopped watching “Passions” shortly after Natalie signed on (terrible, terrible show even for a soap), I have kept track of Natalie over the years. I loved her on “Dirty Sexy Money”, “Hung”, “Person of Interest” and “Californication” but it’s really her role on “Justified” that has me most excited. First, I love the show. Second, I love her character on the show. Third, I love her and I love seeing her do well. As far as I’m concerned, this role is long overdue but I’m thrilled she has it all the same. She’s beautiful and talented. Hopefully this is just the first of many big things to come for her.

In the past, I’ve posted pictures of Jennifer Nicole Lee and have given her a bit of a hard time about the clothing she chose to wear. The post about the gold “dress” she wore to the grocery store and the post about the black whatever you would call it she wore to run errands come to mind. Here’s why I had a problem with those pictures but not these ones. In the other photos, Jennifer was just out and about doing day to day things dressed up like a street walker. I don’t think that’s necessary or appropriate. In these photos, Jennifer is wearing even less but I’m okay with it because these are professional photo shoot pictures in a professional environment. She is a fitness guru. She needs to show off her fit body as part of her job. I would be more inclined to follow her fitness advice based on these photos because she clearly knows a thing or two about getting/staying in shape. It’s all about context and I don’t think Jennifer’s figured that out just yet.

I’m just not sure what Jessica Biel was thinking when she slipped into this little number for the “Total Recall” premiere in London but it had to be an attempt to get on someone’s worst dressed list. I mean, no publicity is bad publicity, right? I love Jessica Biel and am genuinely sad “Total Recall” flopped so hard at the box office. Jessica needs a hit and this clearly wasn’t it. The outfit she’s sporting in these photos is pretty far from a hit as well. There’s just so much going on with it. The leggings (?), the fluffy … uh, middle part, the lace top. Take out some of those elements, and this might have worked. Well, maybe not. This one is bad from top to bottom. At least her hair and makeup looked good.

I usually try to think up a snappy title for these posts but in honor of Candace Bailey, I decided to keep it simple. Why? Because that’s what Candace has chosen to do in these photos. Her bikini isn’t especially revealing and the blue and white stripped pattern is far from bold but that’s really what I like about it. It doesn’t look like Candace was dressing to grab attention here. It looks like she was dressing to be comfortable and that’s not something I’m used to seeing. She looks fabulous, of course, but her low key style actually makes her stand out more. I haven’t yet seen Candace in her new gig as co-host of “Attack of the Show” but I remember her from “Jericho”, a show I loved dearly and miss terribly. After “Jericho” (unfairly) got the ax, Candace worked as a waitress and a babysitter, making her more appreciative of the opportunities she had as an actress. It really shows. She seems to be so grounded. Love this woman. I hope there are big, big things in her future.
