The more I see Rumer Willis, the more I like her. For a long time, she was just the kid of someone famous to me. She had a few acting roles but nothing that really made her stand out for me as an actress. As time has passed, that has started to change. I think she has potential as an actress even if she’s not quite there yet but she also seems like a young lady that is in control of her life. I felt for her when mother Demi Moore was going through all the stuff she was going through but I thought Rumer handled the speculation beautifully. In a lot of ways, Rumer seems more mature and grounded than her mother and I respect her for that. Here in Cancun, Rumer is looking especially good. I haven’t always found her all that attractive but that too is changing. Is she partying too much? Perhaps but she’s a young girl in Cancun with her friends. Partying is sort of what one would expect in such a situation. I just hope she’s careful. I’d hate to see her go off the rails.

Miley Cyrus has never been my favorite but lately, I’ve been finding myself more and more drawn to her. She’s a beautiful young lady who has really grown and matured into a fashion forward young woman. I appreciate that. She isn’t a slave to trends and she doesn’t seem to be trying to do things to please other people anymore. I think that’s fantastic. Do I love the outfit she’s wearing here? Well, honestly, the shorts are a little shorter than I’d like to see (if your butt cheek hangs out when you lean up, your shorts are too short, in my opinion) but I do like the vibe she’s got going on here. As she heads out in Burbank, Miley looks confident, comfortable and pretty darn attractive. Also, I would really like a pair of the shoes she’s wearing here. Someone wanna hook me up?

I know, I know. People have a problem with Miley’s hair. I think it’s fantastic but that’s just my opinion. I think the style makes a statement – she’s done trying to be the girl everyone wants her to be and she’s going to focus on being herself. I love that. Here at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, what really gets my attention though is that dress she’s wearing. Talk about daring! When I see dresses like this, I can’t help wondering how it is possible to avoid a nip slip. My nips would be slipping all over the place. I bet the makers of double sided tape get a lot of business from Hollywood come award season. In any event, I like Miley’s look here. I love the hair and I even like the dress. It’s more mature but it’s still flirty, fun and youthful. This is a young woman ready to strike on her own and she’s using her appearance as a way to signal that. I support her entirely. Miley, you and I have had our differences in the past, but I’m totally on board now. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

These photos from Wet Republic in LA just seem to reinforce a belief I’ve held for the last several years – Jennifer Lopez is never going to age and she’s going to look stunning forever. It’s a little ridiculous. If anything, she’s only gotten more attractive as the years have passed. She looks more mature now than when she did when she first started getting noticed in the industry but that more mature look really works for her. She is simply stunning. Her bone structure is incredible and she clearly knows how to take care of herself. I’m not sure how I feel about her relationship with Casper Smart but that’s her business, not mine. If she’s having fun and he treats her with respect, all the more power to her. Love seeing J-Lo doing so well. I hope that continues even though she’s no longer an “American Idol” judge. She will be missed.

Who is this new guy Paris Hilton is with? I have no idea. I saw his name somewhere but didn’t bother committing it to memory. I’m sure he’ll be moving on soon enough. I don’t get why Paris has such a hard time keeping men in her life. I really think she must be the one that does the dumping because it just doesn’t make sense to me otherwise. Sure her public persona is a little (okay, a lot) vapid but as a person she seems okay. Maybe she’s a little immature and a whole lot spoiled, but she tends to date guys who are also spoiled so that whole thing shouldn’t be a problem. Here’s my guess. The guy she’s sucking face with in France is rich and … well, are there any other real requirements for dating Paris?

I remember when No Doubt first hit it big. I was obsessed – and I mean obsessed – with Gwen Stefani. The strange thing is, it’s been years – maybe even a decade – and I’m still just as obsessed. She’s freaking stunning but in such a very unique kind of way. There just isn’t another woman in the entertainment industry that has her style. She pushes the boundaries but never too far. She dances that fine line between just the right amount of flair and completely over the top. The fact that this woman still looks the same as she did when I was a teenager makes me feel both old and encouraged. Maybe I can dip into the fountain of youth too. Doubt it, but the hope is there. In these photos from the Teen Choice Awards at Gibson Amphitheatre, Gwen mixes up the new, more mature style we’ve seen from her since No Doubt went on hiatus with the fun, punky retro Gwen style from when No Doubt was first breaking out. I love this woman. Can’t say enough nice things about her.
