My biggest complaint about Miley Cyrus when she decided to foster a more mature, sexualized public image was the fact that it felt hollow and forced. It didn’t seem like Miley was trying to take control of her sexuality. It seemed like her ‘team’ was behind the suddenly more sexual image and that disturbed me. It was like someone was telling her to show off her body more to attract a more mature audience and that felt wrong. Since that time though, Miley has gone in a much different direction. She’s adopted an edgier sort of style and to me, it seems more true to who she is as a person. I like that. I know some people don’t like the hair and some people are likely going to feel like these photos are too edgy but I think they’re great. I think Miley looks incredibly sexy but more than that, she looks confident and secure. I’m actually kind of excited to see what she does in her professional life next.

Rita Rusic was born on May 16, 1960. I’ll give you a few minutes to do the math on that one. That’s right – the stunning bikini clad woman in these photos is over 50 years old. Is that crazy to anyone other than me? I’m not the kind of woman that usually says someone looks good for their age but come on – this woman looks incredible for her age … or any age for that matter. Put my in a bikini and stand me next to that woman and I can guarantee you she would look infinitely better than I would and I turned 31 two days before she turned 53. She stands up next to many of the women on this site who are more than half her age. That’s just flat out awesome to me. In these photos from Miami, Florida Rita has convinced me that maybe the secret to staying young and beautiful is having fun and enjoying life. Maybe I should give that a shot sometime.

I’ve given Helen Flanagan a bit of a hard time on a few occasions about her sometimes questionable fashion choices. This would be one of those occasions. While I can’t deny she looks great in these photos from her night out in Manchester, the plunging thigh-split shirt dress is … well, it’s a little racy for a night out, isn’t it? Maybe I’m just being old and prudish. She body looks fantastic and I love how she’s chosen to wear her hair but for me, this particular outfit lands closer to the trashy side of things. All that out of the way, she looks sexy which is obviously what she was going for so good for her. She is a grown woman that can wear what she wants to wear even if some might think it was in questionable taste.

I really have to start watching more reality television. I mean that. I generally have a ‘no reality television’ rule but I’m apparently really missing out. Because I don’t watch these types of shows, I really had no idea who Kimberly Garner was or why she’s considered a celebrity when I was assigned these photos of the pretty blond in Cannes. After a little careful research, however, I discovered Kimberly is mostly known for being a bit of a backstabbing bitch on reality show, Made In Chelsea. Kimberly isn’t just content with being a reality star though. She’s branched out into designing and various other creative ventures and I respect that. From what I hear though, I might lose some of that respect if I checked her out on the show. For what it’s worth, she looks incredible in these photos.

Over the last few days, I’ve been getting a lot of Barbara Palvin photos to write about and have had nothing negative to say about the vast majority of those photos. I guess the streak had to come to an end sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, Barbara still looks incredible in these photos from Cannes but that eye shadow! It’s just so … distracting. I’m not against choosing bold colors when it comes to eye makeup but the bold color she’s chosen here just doesn’t work for her. It’s too … something. I’m not entirely sure what that something is. Maybe it’s too light? Too dark? Too … whatever color it is. I don’t know. I just know that she’s wearing a killer dress, is walking the red carpet like she owns it and is striking some seriously sexy poses yet all I can seem to focus on is that stuff she has on her eyes. She still looks great. I just think she’d look even better if she’d chosen a different color shadow.

I like Gisele Bundchen and I therefore like these photos. This is one of those photoshoots that seems a little off the beaten path for this particular supermodel but I think that’s part of the appeal of them for me. We’re seeing a bit of a different side of Gisele here. The photos have a grimy, gritty feel and I really like that. Of course, the sheer top photo is going to get the most attention but the first photo is likely my personal favorite. It shows off Gisele’s incredible body but the slicked back hair also accentuates her incredible cheekbones. I don’t know why, but I’ve always been a sucker for a woman with great cheekbones. I’m not sure how new or old these photos are but I honestly couldn’t care less. New or old, Gisele looks incredible and that’s all that I’m concerned with.
