The movie is based on of Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-selling book, which is her memoirs that tells her story of self-discovery, “starting with Italy (eat), staying in an ashram in India (pray) and finally Bali, where she finds love with her second husband Felipe.”

The entire time, as she changed clothing for each event, her daughter Emerson Rose was there to cheer her on.
