I have a general rule of thumb. If you can ignore something, choose not to buy it, choose not to watch it or choose to change the channel, you shouldn’t waste your breath complaining about it. I love Katy Perry. I share this rule because I had an argument with a friend the other night over whether or not this new Katy Perry movie is a sign the end of the world really is coming. My opinion? Of course it doesn’t and getting so bent out of shape about something as silly as a pop star’s movie seems a little ridiculous. I think the movie looks terrible but I’ll watch anyway because I like Katy. If you don’t like Katy, don’t watch. Seems pretty simple to me. Here at the “Katy Perry Part of Me” Premiere in Hollywood, Katy is her usual adorable self and she looks like she’s having a great time. I look forward to seeing her first movie even if I’m not expecting a whole lot.

I’m sure someone will give me a hard time for this but I have to tell the truth. Until this set of photos came along, I had no idea who Rachael Finch was. Apparently she’s a beauty pageant girl. Not terribly hard to see why. She’s beautiful, of course, but she’s the wholesome kind of beautiful beauty pageants love. While she definitely puts on her sexy face for the camera in some of these photos, for the most part, she has a sort of innocent vibe about her that really speaks to me. I wasn’t a fan before this post because I had no idea she existed. I am definitely a fan now.

I have been a ginormous fan of Emmy Rossum for a very, very long time. If you haven’t seen her in Showtime’s twisted comedy/drama “Shameless” I would recommend doing so. It’s definitely not a show for the faint of heart, as tends to be the case with shows on Showtime, but it’s a terrific show if you have the stomach for it. I remember seeing her in “The Day After Tomorrow” and just thinking she was this beautiful, talented girl who I was certain would be a force to be reckoned with in the movie business. Then I saw her in “Phantom of the Opera” and had no doubt that she was going to be somebody important. She never broke out as big as I thought she would but she’s taken her career in such an interesting direction. I think this lady is absolutely beautiful and these pictures really show that off. She looks innocent and sweet but still very sexy. This lady has it all. I can’t wait to see where her career goes from here.

I have to admit that as much as I love Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna and some of the other folks set to make appearances in the upcoming film “Battleship” there is nothing in this world that could make me want to pay money to see the film. It looks terrible. Of course, that’s just one person’s opinion. I’m sure there are lots of people out there who will go see it, will love it and will buy it when it comes out on DVD. I’m just not one of those people. Anyway, that’s all beside the point, I suppose. Let’s talk about Brooklyn Decker in a bikini in Sydney. This woman is so beautiful. I love the fact that she’s really not paying any attention to the cameras snapping away and is instead just enjoying her time in the sun.

“Dancing with the Stars” pro dancer Karina Smirnoff looks incredible on the dance floor and off. While to some Karina is more well known for being the “Dancing with the Stars” pro that got herself in a little hot water after taking it all off for Playboy, fans of the show know her as the fiery dancer that works hard to bring out the best in her partners. Last season, she took home the mirror ball trophy with actor/veteran J.R. Martinez. Her chances of a repeat victory don’t look terrific with partner Gavin Degraw but he’s gorgeous and charming so they’re at least fun to watch. Here in Hawaii, Karina shows off her killer dancer’s body in a sexy white bikini. I love Karina. I can’t wait to see how the rest of her season shapes up.

I wasn’t terribly familiar with gorgeous Greek-Irish model Georgia Salpa until I saw the pictures for this post. I knew her from the various controversies she’s been involved in and for her time on “Celebrity Big Brother” but that was pretty much the extent of my experience with this particular model. With that said, based on what I know, I’m a fan. I’m not typically into supposed candid pictures that look like a photo shoot but I’ll make an exception here. I think Georgia looks beautiful in these pictures taken in London and I love that she’s enjoying a nice ice cream. I like the clothes she’s wearing here but not just because they show off her body. She looks comfortable and casual and that’s always nice to see.
