Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is becoming quite the beautiful young lady. She has this classy, sophisticated thing about her but at the same time, she has this sexy thing going on as well. There was a time that I would have insisted Selena was far more adorable than sexy but that is changing as she matures. She isn’t trying to rush things at all. I know I say that about her every time I write about her photos but I think it’s important to mention. So many other starlets her age try so hard to prove they’re growing up so they can appeal to a more mature fanbase but Selena seems content to just be herself. I find that incredibly refreshing. I hope she keeps on with that trend.

Selena Gomez is a beautiful young lady, isn’t she? I feel that is becoming more and more true as time passes. These photos, shot at New Music Live in Toronto, show a more mature looking Selena showing off her sense of style as well as a small part of her toned tummy. While I’ve said before I’m not the biggest fan of Selena’s music, I really could see that changing. As she develops into a more mature person, her work is likely going to follow suit. Maybe one day, I will be able to say I’m a fan of Selena’s work as well as her style and personality. I’d really like to see that happen.

Let me start this off by making something very, very clear: Selena Gomez is one of my favorite young ladies working in the entertainment industry today. While I’m not personally the biggest fan of her music, I do recognize that she is talented and I think she could have real staying power in the industry. I think she’s stylish and beautiful. I like her. I really do. What I don’t like about these photos is the dress. It looks like it doesn’t fit properly around the shoulders and the chest. Maybe it’s supposed to look like that or maybe it was designed for a taller, curvier woman but whatever the reason, I don’t think it flatters her as much as many of the other looks she’s chosen over the years. Her makeup and hair still look great but yeah, I’m not loving the dress – a rare miss for Miss. Gomez, in my humble opinion.

Selena Gomez really is a pretty girl, isn’t she? She seems to get prettier and prettier every time I see her. There’s just something so refreshing about a young woman that isn’t trying to appear older or more mature than she actually is. As Selena grows, we are seeing a more mature look, yes, but it seems to be a natural thing. Some of her contemporaries are trying so hard to prove that they’re older that they’re mistaking trashy for mature and that’s frightening to me. When I was Selena’s age, I was taking my time to enjoy my youth. It doesn’t last forever, after all. It seems Selena is taking that same approach. Is she single? Is she dating you-know-who? I don’t care in the least. Let her have her privacy. Let her enjoy her life and her youth. She’s a talented, pretty young lady who could really make a great career for herself if she continues on the path she’s on. I hope that happens.

There is a lot I love about Selena Gomez. She’s talented. She’s pretty. She seems down to earth and she doesn’t seem to be in a rush to grow up. Some of Selena’s contemporaries seem to be in such a rush to prove that they’re adults that they seem to have no problem at all taking their clothes off any time a photographer has a camera pointed at them. While Selena does pose for racy photo shoots every now and again, they’re certainly not the norm. She’s maturing and taking more control of her sexuality but not in a desperate for attention, desperate to prove herself sort of way. I think these photos for Adidas NEO really show that. She looks grown up and mature but she doesn’t look like she’s showing as much skin as possible. I often find photos like these sexier than super racy, half naked photos because they leave something to the imagination and because the sex appeal is about more than flesh. Instead, it’s about attitude and there’s nothing sexier than a girl with confidence to me.

We all know Selena Gomez is gorgeous. I write about her beauty every time I post about her because it’s really impossible not to write about. I am not the biggest fan of her music or her acting although I don’t really dislike her work either, but I do respect her for being one of the few young stars her age for showing she’s maturing without resorting to publicity stunts or super sexualized videos. We get it. Selena is beautiful. She isn’t the focus of my attention in these photos from the SXSW Festival in Austin. I’m too busy looking at Ashley Benson – a young woman I honestly feel doesn’t get nearly as much press as she deserves. She’s a talented actress and an absolutely stunning lady. I love the darker hair she’s rocking in these photos. Sometimes when a blond darkens up the hair, the result isn’t exactly flattering but the new color really works for Ashley. I’m quite certain she could do anything with her hair and still look incredible, though. Both of these women are absolutely beautiful. These photos are fantastic. I can’t wait to see “Spring Breakers”.
