I know people are going to give Selena Gomez a hard time for hitting the stage for her concert in Hutchinson, Kansas wearing what looks like a punk rock style prom dress, but I think she looks adorable. She’s a young girl that isn’t afraid to have a little fun with what she wears. I love the fact that she’s doesn’t flash every inch of her skin to get attention. Maybe she isn’t quite a household name yet and hey, let’s be honest, maybe she never will be, but I respect her decision to stick to what she’s comfortable with. I love her style. I really do and what’s more important, she seems to as well.

Here we have photographic evidence of why I love Kate Beckinsale so much. She is effortlessly beautiful and she’s just a normal, every day, average woman. She has her bad habits like the rest of us. She doesn’t waste time making sure her hair looks perfect. She just throws it back and goes about her day. She doesn’t waste time planning the most stylish outfit. It just happens that she looks gorgeous all the same. I wouldn’t say she looks quite as good hear as she did on the beach, but she has more of her beautiful skin covered up, so that’s not all that surprising. She does, however, prove an actress doesn’t have to live their life like they’re on a runway to be beautiful. I love that about her.

Blake Lively, here on the set of Gossip Girl, is a budding fashion diva and with good reason. Blake personifies the new grace in Hollywood; the younger set who are breaking away from their trashier peer and doing something more unique. She carries herself with easy poise and elegance. She’s not afraid to be sexy but knows she doesn’t have to flaunt her body every chance she gets to prove herself. The rest of young Hollywood could take notes from this one. Sure she has a stylist who probably chooses every outfit Blake wears carefully, but kudos to Blake for having the kind of confidence needed to pull off the look. In certain circles, Blake isn’t talked about as much as the Momsens and the Cyruses of the world, but in a few years, Blake’s name will still be relevant while some of her more overtly sexualized peers will have to work much harder to stay in the spotlight. Sex only sells for so long before a younger, hotter poptart steals the show.

Heidi Montag took a break from ‘accidentally’ flashing her big ‘ole fake boobs to the press to, well, do whatever it is Heidi was doing in Costa Rica. Here’s the disturbing part. As much as I loathe everything about this bimbo, I have to admit, she looks pretty cute here. I love the busy print on the bikini and I love that there’s actually a little bit of expression on her face. She looks like she’s kind of having fun. I don’t know that a sex tape actually exists or if it was another one of Speidi’s publicity stunts, but I dare say, I might actually watch it if this is the Holly on the tape. I’m a little curious though. Her mouth is open in all of these pictures. Do you figure one of those ten plastic procedures robbed her of the ability to close her mouth? If not, it’s a shame. Heidi is definitely one of those girls that should be seen and not heard. I think that’s the way she likes it.

Katy Perry is one of my favorite popstars at the moment. She’s talented, unique and seems like she’d be a long of fun. Having lunch at Dusty’s restaurant, Katy manages to be almost understated in a lose black and white sun dress and over-sized hat; a far cry from the usual form fitting dresses we usually see her in. She still looks stunning though. In fact, I almost prefer this look. She looks more relaxed and casual – like she can actually breathe. With her protector and fiancé, Russel Brand, at her side she actually looks moderately demure. On the heels of the news that Russel attacked a photographer defending her honor (the photographer was apparently trying to stick his camera lens under her skirt), Katy and Russel look closer than ever. These are one of the very few couples who seem real and genuine. I love Katy and I love these two together.

Kym Marsh, shown here at Beverly Callards hen party, isn’t really a household name outside of the UK and I actually had no idea who she was until I had to do this post. What I discovered during my research is that Kym is quite an accomplished singer, actress, presenter and reality television star who has had more than a few ups and downs in her personal life. It’s lovely to see someone overcome personal tragedy and come out stronger for it. Kym looks happy and beautiful in her black lace dress without looking trashy or cheap. This lady is lovely. It’s a shame Kym was dropped from her record label, but she seems to have rebounded nicely and found real happiness. For that I saw, good for her and I’ll be keeping an eye out for her future projects – I’m sure there will be many of them.
