The movie is based on of Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-selling book, which is her memoirs that tells her story of self-discovery, “starting with Italy (eat), staying in an ashram in India (pray) and finally Bali, where she finds love with her second husband Felipe.”

Oh it may be white but it is also a designer bikini with purple squares and blue dotted X’s. The bottoms are being held up by a scarf. Yes, a flimsy scarf is all that is keeping that small strap between her legs. Nothing like tying on a piece of cloth to hide your nudity.
