Nope – just not loving these photos. I’m not even liking them. Perhaps I’m biased because I really, really dislike Shauna Sand. I think she’s almost become a parody of herself which is a shame. I used to think she was so absolutely stunning but plastic surgery has rendered her almost unrecognizable. Who is this woman with the weird lips and the vacant stare? I don’t know but I know it’s not the Shauna Sand I once knew and loved. I don’t get why someone so beautiful would do this to themselves. It just makes no sense. I get that aging can be frightening but you know what’s more frightening? Those lips. How can she look at herself in the mirror and not feel sad over what she’s done to her face. Breaks my heart.

Ah, I know I’m going to get nasty comments on this one but I always try to be honest when I write these posts and that means being honest about Megan Fox. I know men love her and I can see why but in all honesty, I don’t think she’s as attractive as people like to say she is. She is definitely beautiful and she definitely has a fantastic body but I don’t think she’s the most attractive woman in the entertainment industry or even close to it. I wouldn’t even put her in my top ten. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there are more than enough people out there who would call Megan a perfect ten to ensure her sex symbol status is not the least bit threatened by the 7 I would give her. If this is all coming off as a little bit rude, keep in mind we’re talking about Megan Fox. This is a woman who couldn’t care less what people say about her. She’s strong, confident and gutsy. I admire those things about her. I just don’t happen to think she’s a ten. Beautiful? Yes. More beautiful than I could ever hope to be? Most definitely. Perfect? Not exactly.

I know people are going to be saying Pixie Lott is fat because that’s just how people are so let me address that before I start talking about these photos. Pixie isn’t fat. She’s curvier than your average pop star, sure, but that doesn’t make her fat. I’ve seen a few comments (and even posts) on various websites claiming Pixie needs to lose weight. I call shenanigans on that. Pixie should only lose weight if a) her health is being negatively impacted or b) she isn’t happy with the way she looks. I don’t think either of those conditions have been met. She looks confident and sexy but more than that, she looks healthy. I love these pictures. They’re everything I expect from Pixie. They’re playful, flirty and cute. What a great photo shoot.

Now, I know it’s tempting to call this look trashy what with the completely exposed nipples but I think there is a bigger story here than it would appear at first glance. Yes, Joanna Krupa is showing full breast in these photos (taken in Beverly Hills) but I honestly don’t think it was intentional. Call me naive if you will, but here’s what I think happened. While getting dressed, Joanna chose a new shirt she’s never worn in public before. In normal light, it looks perfectly acceptable but it’s a totally different story when the camera flash is involved. A shirt that appears to be a perfectly normal shirt while the cameras are off is suddenly entirely see through when the camera is on. How does this happen? I blame it on wizards but I’ve had it happen to me and not that long ago. Last New Year’s Eve, as a matter of fact. Left the house looking respectable, had to steal my husband’s blazer within an hour of arriving at the party because in the wrong long, I might as well have not been wearing a shirt. I’m going to give Joanna the benefit of the doubt on this one simply because I’ve been there.

Jennifer Lawrence recently said that she is considered obese by Hollywood standards and I was sincerely disturbed by that. This woman is nowhere near obese and shame on those who would tell her otherwise. She isn’t stick thin but she doesn’t have to be. What kind of a world are we living in when the young lady in these photos from Hawaii is considered obese – not curvy, not chunky, not even fat but obese. Obesity is a huge problem in the United States. Calling women like Jennifer obese makes a total mockery of the problem. Obesity is unhealthy and there is nothing unhealthy about the way Jennifer looks. Am I missing something here?

I like Jennifer Nicole Lee, mostly because I find her story so inspirational. For those that don’t know, Jennifer wasn’t happy with her body after she had her children and instead of allowing herself to be depressed about it, she decided to instead to something to change it. She started working out, eating healthy food and she’s now one of the biggest fitness gurus in the country. Pretty impressive. With that said, I sometimes have a hard time remembering how much I like her thanks to her penchant for wearing next to nothing when doing every day things like going for groceries or getting the mail. It always seems a little too over the line for me. Pictures like these ones are just fine with me. There is a time and a place for everything and showing this much skin makes sense by the pool. I love these pictures. Jennifer looks absolutely fantastic in them. Always nice to get a post about Jennifer that allows me to talk about how much I like her instead of criticize her fashion choices.
