So if you read TMZ, you probably already know that Lindsay Lohan has been getting back into old habits. No, I’m not talking about the alleged jewelry theft because that is so obviously complete pucka and doesn’t even make any sort of logical sense. I’m talking about her recent shopping sprees. It seems Lindsay’s brother Cody has taken an interest in surfing so Lindsay dropped a pretty big chunk of chance on new things for Cody at a surf shop. This is apparently news. I have to tell you, the Lindsay bashing is getting a bit old. She’s working again and seems to be looking healthier and happier than she has in a long time. If she wants to spend money on her little brother to encourage him to pursue something he enjoys, that’s her business. He’s family. If I had more than $3.00 in my bank account at any given time, I’d do the exact same thing for my brothers. Here in Malibu, it’s clear Lindsay and her brother are close. Family is important and people should be encouraging Lindsay to focus more on her family and less on more negative influences in her life. Of course, in Lindsay’s case, her parents are among those negative influences which to me is all the more reason for Lindsay to step up and be there for her siblings. Perhaps I’m naive, but I think Lindsay is on the right path. I hope she keeps it up. I love this girl like I love puppies. I want to see her make the comeback so many doubted she’d ever make.

In the past, I’ve posted pictures of Jennifer Nicole Lee and have given her a bit of a hard time about the clothing she chose to wear. The post about the gold “dress” she wore to the grocery store and the post about the black whatever you would call it she wore to run errands come to mind. Here’s why I had a problem with those pictures but not these ones. In the other photos, Jennifer was just out and about doing day to day things dressed up like a street walker. I don’t think that’s necessary or appropriate. In these photos, Jennifer is wearing even less but I’m okay with it because these are professional photo shoot pictures in a professional environment. She is a fitness guru. She needs to show off her fit body as part of her job. I would be more inclined to follow her fitness advice based on these photos because she clearly knows a thing or two about getting/staying in shape. It’s all about context and I don’t think Jennifer’s figured that out just yet.

I have never wavered in my love of Lindsay Lohan although I have to admit to being more than a little worried about her from time to time. As absolutely everyone knows, she’s had her fair share of troubles but I’m believing more and more every day that those troubles are really behind her. Just look at her. She’s even starting to look like the Lindsay Lohan I fell in love with back in the “Mean Girls” days. She looks healthier than she has in a long time and looks happier as well. I only hope things are going as well as they appear to be. She still has some legal drama to contend with but I really think she can get through it all and make it back to the top if she works hard and focuses on keeping herself on the straight and narrow. I’m rooting for her.

I’m not sure I’ve mentioned this recently, so just in case I haven’t, I’ll say it again. I freaking love Carmen Electra. She’s sexy, confident and doesn’t really seem to take herself too seriously. I think the last two qualities are really what sets her so far apart from many of the other women who do what Carmen does. She has a killer body and she knows it but she also doesn’t seem too stuck on herself. She doesn’t walk around with an “I’m Carmen Electra and I own you” sort of attitude and that’s so appealing. She kind of reminds me of Jenny McCarthy in that way. I’m sure there are those that disagree with me, but these photos (taken in LA) only serve to reinforce that belief in my mind. She just has such an ease about her and she carries herself so well. It’s nice to see photos like these of her. They’re more casual and give me an idea of what Carmen is like when she’s not in front of the camera. I adore her and it’s always a pleasure to write about her.

Doutzen Kroes is one of my favorite models by a mile but I can’t figure out exactly what it is about her that I love so much. Sure she’s beautiful, has an incredible body and is a natural in front of the camera but those three things can be said about a lot of the models working in the fashion industry today. There’s something special about Doutzen though, even if I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what that something is. In these photos, Doutzen looks fantastic. She’s a stunning woman but more than that, she doesn’t seem hung up on looking perfect all the time. She just looks like she’s having a relaxing day at the beach and I like that. I wish I was at the beach. With Doutzen Kroes.

I’m just not sure what Jessica Biel was thinking when she slipped into this little number for the “Total Recall” premiere in London but it had to be an attempt to get on someone’s worst dressed list. I mean, no publicity is bad publicity, right? I love Jessica Biel and am genuinely sad “Total Recall” flopped so hard at the box office. Jessica needs a hit and this clearly wasn’t it. The outfit she’s sporting in these photos is pretty far from a hit as well. There’s just so much going on with it. The leggings (?), the fluffy … uh, middle part, the lace top. Take out some of those elements, and this might have worked. Well, maybe not. This one is bad from top to bottom. At least her hair and makeup looked good.
