I usually try to think up a snappy title for these posts but in honor of Candace Bailey, I decided to keep it simple. Why? Because that’s what Candace has chosen to do in these photos. Her bikini isn’t especially revealing and the blue and white stripped pattern is far from bold but that’s really what I like about it. It doesn’t look like Candace was dressing to grab attention here. It looks like she was dressing to be comfortable and that’s not something I’m used to seeing. She looks fabulous, of course, but her low key style actually makes her stand out more. I haven’t yet seen Candace in her new gig as co-host of “Attack of the Show” but I remember her from “Jericho”, a show I loved dearly and miss terribly. After “Jericho” (unfairly) got the ax, Candace worked as a waitress and a babysitter, making her more appreciative of the opportunities she had as an actress. It really shows. She seems to be so grounded. Love this woman. I hope there are big, big things in her future.

I love Jennifer Nicole Lee … in theory. Her story is inspiring and she’s worked incredibly hard to get where she is in her life. I respect that and I respect her for that so there is a big part of me that wants to look the other way on this one. I can’t though. It wouldn’t be fair to the other celebs I would trash for wearing this outfit or have trashed for wearing similar outfits. I wrote a post about Kate Beckinsale yesterday and mentioned that there is often a fine line between self confident and arrogant. There is also sometimes a fine line between sexy and sleazy. With this outfit, I feel Jennifer has done somersaults over both of those lines. Jennifer works hard to look the way she looks but in these photos she just looks like a working girl, if you get my meaning. Yes she looks sexy but she also looks entirely trashy. I’d expect to see an outfit like this on someone like Shauna Sands or that “Teen Bride” bimbo – not a fitness guru who expects to be taken seriously. I know this all sounds harsh, but it’s my opinion. I really do adore Jennifer and I respect what she’s done with her life but if anyone else were wearing this kind of getup while apparently running errands, I’d be writing the same thing. Sorry Jennifer – just not a fan of this look.

I know a lot of people like to hate on Heather but I’m not one of those people. I think Heather is a beautiful woman. I think she’s a talented woman. I think she’s a woman that, well, hasn’t made the best life choices in the past but I’m not going to hold that against her. I think we all make a mistake or two here and there. In these photos from Malibu, Heather is looking gorgeous and youthful but what really stands out about these photos to me is how happy she looks, not to mention how healthy she looks. I’ve heard people comment on photos like these ones and say Heather dresses too young for her age. I personally think she looks fine. I think the look is fun and flirty – just as I imagine Heather is.

You know what I love about roller skates? Everything! Women on roller skates remind me of roller discos. Sure I wasn’t alive when roller discos were all the rage but I think I would’ve enjoyed them. Roller skates remind me of those diners where the waitresses took orders and delivered food on roller skates. Of course I wasn’t around for those either but again, I think that’s something I would’ve enjoyed. Is it possible to feel nostalgic for a time before you were born? If so, Imogen Thomas has made that happen for me. I think she looks fantastic cruising around on her roller skates in that teeny tiny outfit in London, England. Imogen has a fantastic body and clearly isn’t shy about showing it off. I love a woman with confidence and Imogen has that in spades. Love these pictures. Perhaps my favorite set of Imogen thus far.

Those of you who have been visiting us for a while likely know I’m an “American Idol” fan. I’m a fan of the judges but I’m more a fan of the talent and in my humble opinion, Carrie Underwood is one of the most talented artists ever discovered by Idol. She has a fantastic voice and she knows how to handle herself on stage. As it turns out, she also knows how to look fantastic in a bikini. My favorite part about these pictures though? The beer! I don’t know why but there has always been this misconception out there that beautiful women don’t drink beer. This is false and Carrie proves it. I think she looks stunning here and more than that, she looks like she’s having a good time. I love Carrie. It’s nice to see her taking a little time to relax. She deserves it.

No really – those lips! Are they new? I’ve seen pictures of Sophie before and I find it very hard to believe I missed those suckers. Is she just duck-facing in most of them or is that how her mouth normally looks? I’m sorry. She’s hot and everything and her body is just killer but I can’t get past those freakish lips. The top lip just looks … wrong. Please, someone help me out here, is this plastic surgery gone wrong or has the lack of sleep completely fried my brain? Regardless, outside of the lip situation, I think Sophie looks pretty great in these pictures. I’ve always found her stunning anyway, so that’s not a huge surprise to me. Focus on the good, I suppose.
UPDATE: Okay, so fearing sleep deprivation had crippled my brain, I Google searched “Sophie Munk Lips” and found out that yes, this is a case of plastic surgery gone wrong and it was covered pretty extensively in the press a few years back. What a shame. She’s such a beautiful girl. I’m not anti-plastic surgery. If I had the money, there’s probably a nip and a tuck I’d consider having done but why mess with such a beautiful canvas.
