I really want to like Nicki Minaj. I checked out her album and it definitely has moment I can really get behind but for the most part, I have to admit I’m not really a huge fan. I’d like her style if it didn’t all feel a little “been there done that”. I think I’m being to harsh. I do that sometimes. What I do like about Nicki is that she really marches to the beat of her own drum and is unapologetic about that. That goes double here in Oahu, Hawaii as she films her new music video for her song “Starship”. The bikini, the wig – it’s all so over the top but I like it. I heard the song and I’m still a little iffy about it but I’ll give it a few more listens. I could end up loving it. It wouldn’t be the first time I hated a tune that wound up being one of my favorites. I’m looking at you “Moves Like Jagger” by Maroon 5.

I’m not completely positive, but I believe these pictures of Lindsay Lohan were taken quite some time ago. They look like the photos from her album but again, I’m not entirely sure. They could just be a throwback to Lindsay’s golden days. I am sure, however, that I absolutely love Lindsay and am really rooting for her comeback. I want to say one thing about her gig hosting “Saturday Night Live” this past Saturday though. Yes, I watched. No, I didn’t laugh but let’s be fair. The skits just weren’t funny. Lindsay can only deliver the laughs if she has the material to work with. I thought the fact that she showed up and delivered her lines well is a good sign. I know there are a lot of people out there hoping that she’ll fail. I’m not one of those people. I can’t wait to see her as Elizabeth Taylor. I think it’ll be fantastic.

I like Dannii Minogue. She’s beautiful, talented and has tons of natural charisma. When it comes to the whole “Dannii or Kylie Minogue” debate, I choose to go neutral and say I like them both equally. I’m a little more familiar with Kylie and she has the whole nostalgia thing going for her (her’s was the first album I ever bought) but there is definitely something about Dannii that appeals to me. Every time I see a set of pictures of her, she looks beautiful. These pictures of her live performance at Webster Hall, NYC are no exception. People like to talk a lot of smack about both Minogue sisters and what plastic surgery they have or haven’t had but I honestly don’t have a problem with it. Dannii looks confident, comfortable and healthy. That’s all that matters to me in the end.

How did I miss that little piece of news? I guess I’m getting behind on my celebrity gossip these days. Anyway, on to the pictures. As always, Alessandra Ambrosio looks absolutely stunning. I love everything about the dress she’s wearing here on ‘El Hormiguero’ in Madrid. The color is fabulous on her and I love the style of the dress. It’s flattering but still offers a little glimpse of her baby bump. I’m always a bit nervous when I see pregnant women in heels like that though. Pregnancy is a lot of stress on the back to begin with. I suppose what she puts on her feet – pregnant or otherwise – is none of my business though. Despite my heel concerns, I love these pictures. She looks like she’s having a great time.

I am not afraid to admit when I have no idea what I’m talking about. I went into today’s assignments and saw Alexandra Stan’s name on my list of posts and thought this would be one of those posts. I looked at the pictures and was absolutely stricken by how beautiful this woman is. Her eyes nearly stopped my heart. I have a thing for eyes. A nice body is a nice body but beautiful eyes really grab my attention. I also love the fact that these pictures have an interesting, unique feel to them – a real retro sort of vibe and that really speaks to me too. In other words, Alexandra really sparked my interest so I decided to take a moment or two to learn more about her. Turns out, I actually do know what I’m talking about with this one. In August 2011, Alexandra – a Romanian born musician – released an album called “Saxobeats”. A friend gave me the album and told me to listen to it and I fell in love. For whatever reason though, I didn’t connect the name with the music. Gorgeous and talented? Yes please! Love Alexandra!

Until only a few weeks ago, I had no idea who Alizee was and until this post, I had no idea what she looked like. I have to say, she’s every bit as beautiful as I expected. A friend of mine recommended Alizee’s album so I checked it out and fell in love. Here performing for “Les Enfoirés 2012” in Lyon, I’m listening to her album (“Les Enfoirés 2012”), looking at the pictures and thinking to myself that this young lady may be one of my new favorite artists. I absolutely love her. She’s beautiful, talented (she’s also a dancer) and a philanthropist to boot. I can’t wait to learn more about her. This woman excites me.
