Living in the shadow of your sister must not be a lot of fun. One has to wonder if it that ever bothers Kourtney Kardashian. Kim is definitely the more famous sister, but Kourtney probably takes solace knowing that none of the Kardashians are really famous for anything. I mean, if Kourtney had made a sex tape with Brandy’s brother, she’d be the Kardashian everyone talks about. Would that be worth it? Probably not to Kourtney. She’s a gorgeous girl with an awesome body. That’s probably more than enough for her. While I generally find Kim to be the most attractive of the three, Kourtney is gaining steam. I like each new set of pictures I see of her a little more. Maybe one day she’ll even surpass Kim. Doubt it, but stranger things have happened.

I dunno, I don’t like Reese Witherspoon. She has that sweet, wholesome image, but I’m just not buying into it. There’s something about her that screams ice queen and it wasn’t her little showmance with Jake Gyllenhaal (whom I love, by the way). Something about her just gives me the chills – and not the good kind of chills. I love her as an actress. She takes on some great roles – abso-freaking-lutely loved her in Rendition, for example – but as a person? I don’t know. She seems like the kind of girl that talks catty about her girlfriends behind their backs and cuts men off from sex if they misbehave (although I’m sure that wasn’t a problem with Jakey-G). I think it shows real, honest to goodness talent when an actress can make you love her on the big screen even if you think she’s a ‘see you next Tuesday’ in real life. Of course, I could be completely wrong. It happens. A lot. She could be the world’s biggest sweetheart. I’m just saying if I were going to place a bet, I know where I’d lay my wager.

It goes against my better judgement to write about any of the women featured on MTV’s ‘Teen Mom’. I’ve never watched the show and I don’t intend to change that. That doesn’t mean I haven’t heard of Farrah Abraham. She’s now a celebrity and – like most of the other girls on the show – she got that celebrity status by getting pregnant as a teenager. I have heard mixed things about the show – some saying it glorifies being a teenage mother and some saying it shows the realities of it, but I have a hard time justifying putting these women in the limelight. I grew up in a small town. Most of the girls I went to school with ended up having kids before they turned nineteen. Do I think a show like this would’ve stopped them from making the decisions they made? No. Not at all. I suppose if it does help someone out there decide to abstain from sex or at least have safe sex than it’s worth it, but the real result of the show is pictures like these. Yeah, she’s hot. She’s also a kid with a kid and I have a hard time thinking of her as anything but that.

If you need proof that Salma Hayek is awesome, check out her guest appearances on 30 Rock. It’s one of my personal favorite comedies on the air right now and she was one of the best guest stars the show has had. Salma is funny, sexy and doesn’t take herself so seriously she can’t poke fun at herself. I love these pictures of Salma because they serve as just further evidence that Salma is not only a babe, but is also a babe that isn’t afraid to look human. Although she has a little cellulite in some of the pictures and doesn’t have a perfectly flat stomach, she still looks incredible. I’d rather see one picture of Salma than a hundred pictures of waif thin actresses that look like that haven’t eaten a sandwich in years. Salma is one of my favorite actresses in Hollywood. Hope she comes back to 30 Rock someday.

Normally when you see Avril at the beach she’s dressed down in t-shirts looking like one of the boys. Every now and then, though, Avril decides to remind us that underneath her casual attire there’s a smoking hot body. Thankfully, there are usually cameras there to catch the hotness in glorious photographs. This is Avril in Hawaii lounging in the sun in a sexy black bikini. Sure that ugly trucker hat makes its appearance, but who really pays attention to what’s on her head. The only thing anyone pays attention to in these pictures is what isn’t covering her body. A nice change for sure. The thing I like most about Avril is that this isn’t an every day occurrence. Pictures of Avril in a bikini are actually a treat because we don’t get them all the time. Maybe some of the other starlets out there flaunting their bodies at every turn could take lessons from Lavigne.

Now, J-Love, I will admit, you and I have had our problems. I haven’t always been your biggest fan when it comes to your fashion choices but I am fully behind this one. A grass skirt and a white bikini top? I can’t see much wrong with that. These pictures from Maui show the fun, playful side I love so much about you – that Jennifer Love Hewitt charm I fell in love with back when ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ was in theaters and the whole weight was still way off in the distant future. What I love most about you, though, is that you don’t have the perfect body and you genuinely don’t seem to care. Most women in Hollywood would starve themselves to look stick thin if they were planning to leave the house wearing so little but you, on the other hand, look healthy. You don’t look chubby or chunky. You look like you don’t scream and run when confronted with food. That’s pretty sexy in and of itself.
