I wanted such good things for Selena Gomez. I wanted her to be the exception to the rule. I wanted her to be the good girl in a sea of bad girls. Apparently, I wanted too much and it wasn’t fair of me. Selena is a young, rich girl with lots of young rich friends. It’s silly to expect her to behave like a choir girl. I just hope she’s able to bring herself under control and find a way to be happy without all the extra things in life. She’s young and rich, yes, but if she alienates her fan base, can’t win over the older crowd and continues wasting money like water, she’s going to find herself wishing she’d been a little more careful one day. I’ve never lived the life of the rich and famous but I can’t imagine it’s fun to look back and realize you had the world in your hands and threw it all away.

Yeah… so here’s JoJo. What more can I say about these shots? I’m not really feeling anything about them, to be honest. Then again, I have to confess, my opinion on Joanna JoJo Levesque changes so wildly from one photo set to the next, it was almost guaranteed I wouldn’t like these photos. That’s just the way I am. Is it fair? No, but hey, life isn’t fair most of the time. Regardless of how I feel about these particular photos though, JoJo is a beautiful young lady. I hope to be able to say I love the next photo set and really mean it. I don’t like bagging on his girl.

I had a rather lengthy conversation about the stars of High School Musical with a friend of mine the other day. It was around the time Zac Efron reignited rumors that he’s a big ole cokehead. Ashley Tisdale came up during this conversation seeing as she is also a star of the former hit teen franchise alongside Zac and Zac’s former love, Vanessa Hudgens. I said I think Ashley and possibly even Vanessa have more staying power than Zac. Guys seems to have a harder time escaping that tween label than girls do. Ashley especially has an advantage as it could be argued that she wasn’t exactly the star of the franchise. She’s already branched out with her guest spot on Sons of Anarchy. I think, if she plays her cards right, Ashley could stick around for the long haul which I’d love to see as then we’d get to see more photos like these ones of The Tis in Los Angeles. Love her.

Way back when Naya Rivera’s Santana Lopez was nothing more than a background character on Glee, rumors circulated that Naya was dating her dreamy Glee co-star Mark Saling (Puck, for those who were never as Glee-sessed as me). Rumors also circulated that the two had a nasty split and Naya either busted the windows out of his car, keyed her car, slashed his tires or tried to run him over. I don’t think any were true but there are a whole lot of people out there that believe it was probably all of the above, relishing in painting a strong woman like Naya with the psycho brush. Now… Naya is going through a new breakup and we’re starting to hear some of those rumors again. I’d like to think the rumors were false then and are false now. It wouldn’t be the first time a guy has used previous bad press to hurt his famous ex but, well… I’m just gonna leave it at that.

I don’t read the comments on these posts very often anymore because people on the internet kinda bring me down sometimes. Some of you people can be mean. But anyhow, I’m sure if I did read the comments, I’d find that someone has gone to one of my previous Selena Gomez posts to gloat by now. Why? Because I was wrong. I was oh so wrong. In my head, I had Selena as this perfect, sweet, innocent little flower who would stay that way forever. Of course that wasn’t true. She’s human. Of course she’s just as messed up as the rest of us. I hope Selena gets the help she needs though and overcomes it all because, well, we already have popstars going crazy left and right. It’s much more unique to be the sane one.

The other day, I mentioned writing about certain women on this site who I praise for being so unique but secretly don’t really find all that attractive. Yeah. Jessie J isn’t one of them. I don’t care what look she tries out, she always seems to be able to pull it off. On top of that, she’s an incredible talented woman and in all honesty, that plays a role in attraction to me. If I respect someone as an artist, I’m far more likely to find them attractive and I really do respect Jessie as an artist.
