She wore a nice cocktail dress with teasing portions that were translucent but never really see through. Portman has won the “Movie for Humanity Award” and a big cash prize of $50 K. She pledged to donate the money to the Jane Goodall Institute in Tanzania.
Diane Kruger is a German actress who has been cast to play a German movie actress in the film, Inglorious Bastards. She was chosen because she resembled the movie character; being German and an actress herself. Kruger was the first female actress to be selected for Inglorious Bastards. The other male actors have been more or less confirmed. Kruger wore a sexy, see through dress to the Jaeger dinner at the Fondacion Cini during the 65th Venice Film Festival, in Venice, Italy, on August 31.
Paris Hilton met her sister, Nicky Hilton, in Las Vegas, on Friday night, August 29. The Hilton sisters were there to celebrate the opening of a new restaurant called Yellowtail. Paris was escorted by Nicky because her boyfriend was away. Benji Madden and his band, Good Charlotte, was away on tour. I wonder why Paris did not join him this time. After all, she had toured with Benji previously. Perhaps she had other commitments to fulfill.
Roselyn Sanchez, an actress who originated from Puerto Rico, is one of the sexy Latinas who have hit the screen. Sanchez starred in “Without A Trace.” This TV series from CBS was about FBI’s Missing Persons Squad. Each episode showed the MPS’s efforts to trace the missing, despite their having totally disappeared from the face of the earth. Sanchez is dressed very provocatively in this photo shoot. Shannen Doherty has come out into the limelight again now that she will be returning to TV soon. These were her pictures outside Nobu restaurant in Malibu, on Aug 30. She looked causally stunning in some simple shorts and top. Her hair looks thick and groomed. Tori Spelling wrote in her book that Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth had a fist fight when they were part of the cast in “Beverly Hills 90210.” Doherty has given her version of the truth. She denied ever participating in a physical fight with Jennie Garth and suggested that Spelling was lying.
It’s such a delight to see Reese Witherspoon in simple but stylish clothes and sporting a happy, contented smile. The “Legally Blonde” star was recently in Brazil presumably for her advocacy campaigns against breast cancer and she looked beautiful. Now officially separated from husband Ryan Philippe and currently dating “Brokeback Mountain” actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Reese may already have crow’s feet around her eyes and apparent laugh lines but we still love her, don’t we?
