I keep meaning to catch up on this series, The Only Way Is Essex but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Lauren Pope is one of the reasons I keep meaning to check it out, even though it isn’t exactly the kind of show I’d normally be interested in. For those that don’t know, TOWIE is a ‘reality show’ similar to The Hills and Jersey Shore – two shows I didn’t love but seem to be great at making stars out of average people. What I like about Lauren though is that she is more than just a typical reality star.  She’s also a DJ, a producer, a designer and a model. I appreciate the fact that she seems to have put some effort into becoming something more than what she became famous for. In these photos in Marbella, Spain, we see Lauren taking a little time out to enjoy a nice day by the pool and I have to say, she looks terrific. While she may not be some people’s idea of ‘beautiful’, she’s certainly mine. I like the fact that she isn’t typical. I’m not sure what will happen with her career after her time on TOWIE comes to an end, which it has to eventually, but I hope for nothing but the best.

I know that we have our Tulisa Contostavlos fans around these parts but I also know that we have our readers that, well, don’t like her so much. I fall into the former category. I think Tulisa is absolutely beautiful and I think these photos of her on the beach in Marbella back up my side of the argument. Of course, there are always going to be people who disagree. The beauty of the internet is that anyone with a connection can quickly and easily share their opinion about anything and everything they want to share their opinion about. When that easy sharing of opinions is possible, disagreements are pretty much guaranteed. For what it’s worth though, I look at these photos of Tulisa and I have a very hard time seeing anything at all that looks out of place. She has an incredible body, a beautiful face and seems to be very confident. All of those things make her irresistible, to me at least. Feel free to agree or disagree. Monica Bellucci is one of those timeless beauties that just leaves me breathless each and every time I see her. There’s something so captivating about her. I think it’s her delicate, feminine features or possibly those gorgeous eyes. I have always been a big fan and must confess, I’ve never seen these photos before. I’m not sure they’re brand new but they are lovely so that’s all I’m really concerned about. Monica is one of those women who just has this classic, old Hollywood glamour about her and I think that really shows in this set. She looks stunning – absolutely beautiful.

I know, I know. I might be one of the only people in the world that isn’t completely bananas over Blake Lively. I think she’s pretty and all but she isn’t one of my absolute favorites. Here at the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the real star of the photos is Blake’s dress. It’s absolutely stunning and was the perfect choice for her. It’s dramatic and eye catching and it flatters her beautifully. I’m not sure she chose to pair it with the right hair, jewelry and makeup though. I’m sure it was a calculated decision though. By keeping everything else mostly minimal, the focus is on the dress, which is great, but maybe a little hair framing her face would’ve been more complimentary. And the earrings …. not sure about the earrings. The dress might’ve worked better with something a little more understated. Of course, all those things aside, she still looks incredible. I just think without a few different choices, she could’ve looked even better.

I’m sure this goes without saying for our regular readers but I’m going to say it all the same. I love Alessandra Ambrosio. She’s absolutely beautiful, definitely one of my favorite models. These photos from Cannes are fantastic. I love everything about them. She looks so elegant and sophisticated. That gown makes her look almost ethereal. I’d love to say there’s one specific thing about Alessandra that makes me love her so very much but there really isn’t. It’s a lot of things. I love the delicate features of her face. I love her hair. I love her body. I love the vibe she gives off when she’s in front of the camera. There are a million things working together that make her one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever had the pleasure of writing about on this site.

Izabel Goulart was one of those models I always thought looked beautiful but never really paid a lot of attention to. That is starting to change. The last few photos I’ve seen of her have really made me start taking more notice of her. These photos from Cannes are a great example of why. She seems to have so much fun, even when she’s just walking the red carpet. There’s this lighthearted air about her and I love that. It’s not something I often see in models outside of photoshoots when a lighthearted vibe is one of the goals of the shoot. I don’t know what the future holds for Izabel but if the past is any indication, her future is a very bright one indeed.
