Well holy crow. A set of pictures of Karissa Shannon that I don’t have anything to criticize. I will freely admit I often give this girl a hard time because, well, she pretty much represents everything I don’t like about Hollywood, but I try to at least be fair so… Karissa looks pretty damn hot here. Normally I don’t like the ultra blond hair, but even that doesn’t seem as distracting in these photos. She looks like she’s having fun and anyone who has been reading these posts for a while likely knows I really like pictures of celebs who look like they’re enjoying themselves. I like the bikini. I like the fact that she isn’t thin as a strand of raw spaghetti. I like it all. I can finally see why people like her so much.

Hitting the town in a form fitting red dress, Amy Childs does her best to remind us why we care about her. She’s hot. That’s pretty much it. I’m sure someone will defend her against this unfair attack, but I pretty much hold this opinion of any sexy reality tv celebrity who is famous only for being famous – and the UK is no exception. With that said, I don’t really have any problem with Amy. She knows what her biggest assets are (boobs and butt, of course) and she works them. I don’t think that’s any worse than Kim Kardashian doing the same thing.

The last time we spoke of Eliza Doolittle, I was still a little unsure about who she is so I did what was often do for this site. I tracked down some of her music and gave it a listen. Have to admit – it’s not really my cup of tea, but I can see why people like it. The two singles, ‘Skinny Genes’ and ‘Pack Up’ were enjoyable. Here in London for the National Movie Awards, though, Eliza shows off why I really like her. I like this girl’s style. This chic, bohemian mini-dress looks incredible on her but is also a dress non-celebrity women could wear. Well, I’d wear it anyway.

Uma Thurman has long been one of my favorite actresses but I can’t really explain why. Perhaps it’s just lingering loyalty from the ‘Kill Bill’ days because to be honest, I haven’t seen her in something I’ve really loved since then. Although the rumors about a third ‘Kill Bill’ film have been around for quite some time, Uma recently reignited those rumors saying she’s been hearing talk of it again. Hopefully its true. Uma has always been a different kind of celebrity; offering an alternative to many of the other options in Hollywood. She’s gorgeous, but she isn’t overdone and she has a unique style. Here at the IFF Opening Ceremony of the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival, Uma looks fantastic – demure yet womanly in a from fitting white dress. There’s nothing about this woman I don’t adore.

I love Emma Roberts. She such a little cutie. I see her and I just want to pinch her cheeks or give her a hug. With that said, something kind of bothers me about these pictures from the Pirates of the Caribbean 4 premiere. It kind of looks to me like she might be losing a little weight. She looks skinnier than she did the last time I saw pictures of her. Black is slimming. That has to be it. I hate that there is so much pressure on young actresses to be thin. At the same time, she isn’t scary thing. She still looks healthy. I just hope she doesn’t head down the wrong path. I understand the whole naturally thin thing. I am at least ten pounds underweight myself. I hope that’s what it is and not something worse. Maybe I worry too much.

It’s finally set it stone! The contracts have been signed and the auditions have begun. Paula Abdul will join Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Cheryl Cole on the judge’s panel for the US version of Cowell’s ‘X-Factor’. I know what you’re thinking. Really? Another reality singing competition. We have ‘American Idol’. We have ‘The Voice’. We have (or maybe had, I’m not sure) ‘Nashville Star’. Do we really need another one? Probably not, but we have one and I’ll be watching. I love Simon and I love Paula. Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez are doing a great job on Idol, but Simon and Paula have such great chemistry. Here at the ‘X-Factor’ auditions, Paula looks lovely. I’ve always been a big fan and I’m excited to see her on television again.
