I’m not sure what Brazilian TV show this was filmed for but I have to say it’s nice to see Pamela Anderson back in a bathing suit, running along the beaches in Hawaii. While it isn’t quite the same as seeing her back in the red bathing suit she made famous in Baywatch, it’s close enough for me. I loved Baywatch. It was silly and completely devoid of purpose, but it was fun and entertaining. It was the kind of show I could watch when I felt like turning my brain off for a while. While Pamela doesn’t exactly look the same as she did when Baywatch was in its heyday, I think she still looks fantastic. I love this woman. It’s nice to see her acknowledging where she started. Now if only we could get her to put on a ‘Tool Time’ tank top and a pair of denim shorts …

People love giving Lindsay Lohan grief. They like picking apart everything she does, looking for any sort of scandal they can find. She has made herself a target and really has no one to blame for her bad reputation but herself but there comes a point that it’s time to let it go. I have always been a Lindsay fan and I’ve always been rooting for her to find her way back to the straight and narrow so perhaps I’m biased when I say I don’t see anything scandalous about these photos. I think she’s more conservatively dressed than many of the women who hang out lounging by the pool but more importantly, she’s looking healthier than she has in a long time. People like to say she looks older than she is and in the past, I’ve agreed. When I look at these photos though, I see a young woman that looks an awful lot like that girl I fell in love with back in the “Mean Girls” days. I want what’s best for Lindsay. I only hope she finally wants what’s best for herself as well.

Sometimes you get so used to seeing a celebrity in wild outfits or super revealing clothing that seeing them in something normal is shocking. That is the case for me with these photos of Rihanna in Cannes. This particular bathing suit is so tame compared to her usual attire. I think that’s what I like so much about these pictures. They show us a different side of Rihanna. Instead of focusing on looking sexy or being the center of attention, she’s just focusing on having a good time, and it looks like she’s accomplished that. She looks like she’s having the time of her life hanging out with her friends and I think that’s fantastic. I don’t always agree with the choices Rihanna makes in her personal life but I respect the fact that they are her decisions to make.

Oh Alessandra Ambrosio. How many different ways can I say I love this woman like I love kittens? Just one time I would like to see a picture of Alessandra looking anything less than flawless. I’m sure such photographs exist. She is only human after all. I can say for sure though, if those photos do exist, they’re certainly not among this set of photos of Alessandra on a beach in Malibu. She looks so relaxed and easy going as she hangs out by the water. I think that’s actually what I like most about these photos. She’s gorgeous, sure, but she also looks happy and comfortable. I love that. I’m sure I’ll be saying much the same thing next time I get a set of Ambrosio photos but I look forward to it all the same.

Oh Paris Hilton – always searching for new ways to keep her name in the headlines. This time, she’s decided to be a DJ. I can’t really say much about it. I am one of the few people that actually liked Paris’ foray into the music business. She has been to enough parties to know what the average party goer likes so maybe this is actually something she’ll be good at. Maybe not. Here at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Paris takes her place on stage and does her best to keep the crowd entertained. Did it work? No idea, but she looks cute. That has to count for something. I like Paris. She might be a self centered brat who has never had to work a day in her life but she owns that. She is who she is. I guess in some weird kind of way, I respect that. It can’t be easy being as hated as Paris is in many social circles but she doesn’t let it get her down. Kudos to her and I wish her nothing but good things with her new career.

I really do like Rihanna. I like her music. I like her personality and I love her style. It takes a special kind of woman to rock an outfit like the one Rihanna is wearing in these photos from BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend in London. I don’t care about what the critics say. I think she looks great. The thing I admire most about Rihanna is her ability to keep her style feeling fresh and new. I also really appreciate the fact that she doesn’t always have to wear elaborate costumes on stage. I could imagine seeing her in candid shots wearing an outfit similar to this one without her even batting an eyelash. She’s just that kind of girl. Love her.
