Young celebrities of Hollywood – pay attention. Do you see this first picture of Jessica Lowndes? She’s getting out of a car in a short dress and she isn’t flashing her panties. See? It is possible! There is no longer an excuse. The second lesson from these pictures? Jessica isn’t showing her underwear and she’s still super sexy. Well, to be honest, I do think she’s a bit on the skinny side, but hey – she’s not the skinniest of the bunch on 90210 so I suppose I shouldn’t complain. In alol seriousness though, Jessica (shown here at the Esquire June Issue Launch Party – Sketch, London) looks pretty hot. I like the dress although the peek-a-boo bodice kind of bothers me. All the same, she looks good. I’d probably wear this dress if I looked half as good as her.

Sure you can only see up Rosie Huntington’s skirt in these upskirt candids in New York for a moment, but it’s a good moment, right? Moving on to the gossip. Have you heard about the controversy over the Maxim Hot 100 insert cover? Let me fill you in. Apparently, the gorgeous, half naked silhouette pictured on the cover of that insert (not the actual magazine, but the mini-magazine that comes with it) is not Rosie, the girl who landed the number one spot on the list, but is instead a young model from Maryland named Krista Mills. Look her up – she’s stunning. Maxim has said they never intended to make people believe the model on the cover of the insert was Rosie, but I’m not sure I buy that. I suppose in the end it doesn’t really matter. It would be nice to see Krista get the recognition she deserves. Landing that cover was a big deal. She should get the credit for it. All the same, Rosie is clearly a stunner in her own right. With her role replacing Megan Fox in Transformers, it shouldn’t be long before her name is all over the place – just like Megan’s was.

I’ve never seen ‘The O.C.’ but I remember what a huge fuss everyone was making about it when it was on the air – particularly young Mischa Barton. So… what happened with all that? Sure she’s had a few problems, but what happened to all that love? I really like Mischa. I’m not sure what it is about her I like. I saw her in ‘Homecoming’ and ‘The Beautiful Life’ and thought she was pretty good. More than that I like that she isn’t completely caught up with being Hollywood. Has that hurt her career? Probably not as much as her problems off camera, but I’m sure it has played some role in it. Regardless, I love her and I love these pictures. She has a sort of vulnerability about her that I think it really sweet. I hope she pulls herself together and gets her career back on track. With six projects in the works right now, it looks like she’s on her way to doing just that.

Amanda Seyfried is my favorite young actress working in Hollywood today – perhaps tied with Mila Kunis. She’s beautiful, talented and not afraid to just be herself. In my ever so humble opinion, the true test of an actress or model’s beauty is how they look without makeup. It isn’t hard to be beautiful if you have a team of makeup artists and hair stylists making sure everything looks perfect. When you see someone like Amanda just going about their day with no makeup on and they still look incredible, you know their beauty isn’t all smoke and mirrors. Here in LA, Amanda is just her natural, beautiful self and I love her even more for it.

I’m just not sure how I feel about Hayden Panettiere. It feels like every time I see her, she looks older and is showing more skin. I’ve always loved that she has so much class and poise for someone so young, but it seems she’s starting to loose a bit of that as she’s gets older. It’s kind of funny, really. Perhaps she’s just starting to act her age, but I really hope she would continue to do things differently than her peers. Here at box, Vitali Klitschko, Germany she’s flashing a bit more skin than she normally would, but she still looks gorgeous. I suppose I’m just frightened for where things are headed for her. I don’t want to see her start flashing her body to try to get better roles and more attention. While that works for some actresses – and seems to be the only way for some actresses, I just hoped for more from Hayden.

Emma Roberts never really broke into the spotlight like many expected her to. There was a time when the fact that she’s Julia Robert’s niece alone led people to believe that she would be an A-lister at a young age. That didn’t entirely happen, but she’s still young. I think there are a lot of big things in her future. She’s a beautiful, talented girl who seems to have a strong work ethic. I loved her in “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” and am excited to see her in “Scream 4”. As she hits up the Nike Store in Beverly Hills, I can’t help thinking maybe she’s glad she never really stormed the Hollywood scene. She seems pleasant enough with the paps, but not entirely thrilled with their attention. Even so, I think that’s something she needs to get used to because you’re going to see a lot more of this girl in the future.
