I’ve given Helen Flanagan a bit of a hard time on a few occasions about her sometimes questionable fashion choices. This would be one of those occasions. While I can’t deny she looks great in these photos from her night out in Manchester, the plunging thigh-split shirt dress is … well, it’s a little racy for a night out, isn’t it? Maybe I’m just being old and prudish. She body looks fantastic and I love how she’s chosen to wear her hair but for me, this particular outfit lands closer to the trashy side of things. All that out of the way, she looks sexy which is obviously what she was going for so good for her. She is a grown woman that can wear what she wants to wear even if some might think it was in questionable taste.

I am not always the biggest fan of Helen Flanagan but I am a big fan of these photos. Looking super sexy as she poses for a new PETA Anti-Exotic Skins ad in Covent Garden, London, Helen is showing off a side of her self that I really like. She looks so understated and pretty – not at all over the top as she can sometimes be. I really appreciate that. I also really like the whole ‘anti-exotic skins’ campaign. I usually like PETA’s overall message but sometimes I think their message is lost in their methods. Ads like these ones really work. They call attention to the campaign without being shocking or outrageous. Well done, PETA and looking good, Helen.

Now, sometimes I like Helen Flanagan and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I have those two very different reactions to different photos in the same photo set and that always leaves me feeling confused. I’ve been working non-stop today and have the season finale of Arrow waiting patiently for me to watch it but I wanted to get at least one more post done before I skipped off to watch it. I don’t feel like being confused right now. But here we are. Some of these photos are great. Others … well, let’s talk about something I find impossible to ignore. The first photo here wouldn’t be that but if it weren’t for that weird look in lady’s eyes. Those are some serious crazy eyes. It’s really kind of disconcerting. She’s given us so much else to look at here but I can’t get passed those eyes. That’s all I have to say here. Those eyes are going to haunt my nightmares.

I’m kind of hot and cold about Helen Flanagan. Sometimes I think she’s fantastic, other times I think she’s, well, something a little less than fantastic. If you’ve read any of my other Helen Flanagan posts, you probably know what I’m talking about. Sometimes she comes across as a little desperate for attention but I don’t think that’s the case in these photos from Dubai. Some of the photos are a little “posy” but for the most part, she just looks like she’s having a good time at the beach and that’s always nice to see. I don’t know if these are my favorite Helen Flanagan photos but they’d definitely rank pretty close to the top of the list, I’m sure.

So Helen Flanagan went to the James Milner Foundation Ball in Manchester and decided to wear what I have to assume was intended to be a child’s Halloween costume or possibly, a child’s costume for a beauty pageant or dance recital. On a child, it would look adorable. On a full grown woman, it just looks ridiculous. The only thing I don’t hate about this entire outfit is her shoes. The hair would probably be nice if she didn’t choose to wear it like this with this particular outfit. It looks like she’s paired a ballerina bun with a child’s ballerina costume and is attempting to be sexy in it. No. It just doesn’t work. On any level. I don’t get it and now I have a headache. I’m not entirely sure I’m seeing what I think I’m seeing in these photos of Helen Flanagan from the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai but I feel the need to point it out anyway. Is that possibly a see through camel toe in the first picture? Well leave it to Helen to take the camel toe to the next level. I’m kind of back and forth on Helen. Sometimes I like her, sometimes I’m not really sure how I feel about her. I guess today I’m somewhere in between. I like the bikini. I like that she looks like she’s having fun. Even so, these aren’t my favorite pictures of her. Then again, how can I really complain when she’s possibly rocking a see through camel toe?
