Petra Benova is one of those models that really seems to be popping up more and more in my posts and I’m pretty happy about that, indeed. I think this young lady is absolutely stunning. The Slovakian model looks fantastic in these photos, shot in Miami. I’ve always loved the denim shorts with a bikini top look and I think the had just adds an extra layer of intrigue. This is the kind of woman I could stare at all day. She’s not all hung up on looking super glamorous and perfect every second of every day and I find that appealing. When I look at some of the women in the entertainment industry that hit the beach for a casual day of relaxing with their hair and makeup done, I can’t help thinking about how long anyone who went with them had to wait while they got ready to relax. Here, Petra looks like she threw on her suit, a pair of shorts, a hat and took off yet she still looks incredibly sexy. I’d be jealous if I wasn’t enjoying looking at her so much.

Good Golly – how much do I love Maria Menounos? That’s an unfair question. I’m quite certain my love for this lady could not be measured. I’m having a rough go of it lately. In the last month, I’ve lost my father-in-law and my uncle (my father-in-law passed away suddenly while my uncle passed away after a short battle with cancer) but when I look at Maria, I can’t help but smile. She’s just such a positive, upbeat person. She parts the rain clouds that hang over this crappy month and lets a little bit of sunshine in. Just look at these photos of Maria in New York. She’s so freaking adorable. I know there are other people in these photos I should be talking about but honestly, I barely see anyone other than Maria. This lady is like the smell of fresh baked cookies. She’s a big blanket and cup of hot cocoa on a cold day. She just makes the world a little bit brighter.

A few short hours ago, I posted a gorgeous set of Nina Agdal photos. Now it’s time for the second set. Last time I focused on Nina’s reported relationship with Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine. This time, I’m going to focus on something a little different – Nina as a prom date. As the legend goes, a young man recorded a YouTube video asking Victoria’s Secret model Kate Upton to be his date for his prom. Kate is a busy lady and said that, although she wasn’t able to go, she really would have liked to go anyway. Not wanting the boy to be alone for his prom, Nina – also a Victoria’s Secret model – stepped in and agreed to go with him in Kate’s place. How freaking sweet is that? Stories like that one always make my cold little heart warm up just a little bit. Well done, Nina and boy – just look at these photos. What a lucky, lucky boy.

I few short hours ago, I posted a little bit about my lack of understanding for the hate Nicole Kidman seems to get. Paris Hilton also gets a lot of hate but at least with her, I get what the hate is about. She seems incredibly full of herself, has no real discernible talent and  is the kind of spoiled little rich girl everyone loves to hate. I think that’s part of the reason I like her so much. She is who she is. She doesn’t try to hide the fact that she’s spoiled. While she does occasionally try to prove she has some sort of talent (she has a new album coming out, remember?) I don’t really hold that against her. If I had Paris’ fame and money, I’d probably put out an album too. The truth is, I know I should dislike the woman. She is everything I hate about today’s celebrity culture but I just don’t. I like Paris Hilton and I can’t even help it.

Barbara Palvin is most definitely one of my favorite up and coming models and shots like these from her Victoria’s Secret Photoshoots are a great example of why that is. She’s such a beautiful young woman with such an ease in front of the cameras. I love the way she can be flirty and cute in one photo then sensual and sexy in the next. While that might not seem like a big accomplishment for some, it really is. There are a lot of models that can’t pull those different personas off. I think Barbara has the potential to be very successful in this industry for years to come. I just hope she manages to avoid getting tangled up in any more scandals. Scandals may get one more attention but that’s short term. If Barbara wants a long career, the focus needs to be on her work and what she does professionally not what she does in her private life.

A few short hours ago, I wrote about a set of photos of Candice Swanepoel modeling the VSX line of workout clothes. I said that particular photo set wasn’t quite as hot as the two other sets of Candice Swanepoel I had to post. If you were perplexed by that statement, these photos should clear up what I meant. I mean, come on. Just look at these photos. Good gravy. I was going to refer to a specific picture as an example of what I mean but I can’t. They’re all fantastic. Candice is just one of those women that could wear a burlap sack and look like a million bucks. I’d say it isn’t fair but hey, I still get to look at her so I’m alright with that. I might not look like Candice Swanepoel but I get to look at her so I’m happy.
