Here’s the thing: I love Adam Levine. I really do. He’s sexy, funny and after listening to Maroon 5’s cover of If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys, I realized he’s also far more talented than I ever gave him credit for. I loved him on American Horror Story as well. He’s one of those guys I don’t want to like but just can’t bring myself to dislike. For all those reasons, I can totally understand how Adam keeps landing some of the most beautiful women in the world. After his breakup with Anne V, he’s wasted no time moving on. In fact, if my count is right, Nina Adgal – the beautiful young woman in these photos – is the second Victoria’s Secret model he’s dated since his split with Anne. I honestly can’t decide who I’m  more jealous of in this relationship, Nina for getting to crawl into bed with the Man Candy that is Adam Levine or Adam for getting to crawl into bed with the gorgeous beauty that is Nina Agdal. Can you imagine what a sex tape of these two would be like? I know my mind shouldn’t automatically go there but there it is all the same. I hope these two are in it for the long haul but given Adam’s track record, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Dakota Fanning is one of those young actresses I find myself fascinated by. She’s so talented, so beautiful, and so completely fearless with the roles she takes. I remember watching her in Hounddog and thinking to myself that it really took guts to take on that kind of role at such a young age. I also like the fact that she seems to only take roles she’s interested in even if they’re low budget films. So many young women her age go for the roles that offer the biggest paychecks but Dakota seems to have avoided that. It’s weird for me to see how grown up she’s looking though. She still has that youthful attitude shining through in these photos from the Met Gala 2013 in NYC but there’s a maturity about her that seems beyond her years. This is a young woman that has serious staying power in this business and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to see her accepting a Best Actress Oscar one day.

I love that the theme for the 2013 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC was ‘punk’. It brought out some really interesting looks. Some of them were interesting in a good way. Some were not. I think Christina Ricci’s plaid gown was interesting in the best possible way. It was glamorous but still stuck to the punk theme in a way that I really think worked. I don’t really find Christina Ricci all that attractive in general but I think that has something to do with the fact that I’ve been told I’m a dead ringer for her since I was but a teenager. I guess there’s resentment there or something. With that said, I think she’s an incredibly talented young lady who has never, ever gotten the respect she deserves as an actress. I hope that changes one day.

Here we see the infamous “Teen Bride” leaving the home she shares with her husband/father figure, Doug Hutchison, to go celebrate her 18th birthday. For a while, I was really trying to go the “I don’t know, maybe they’re really in love” route but as it becomes more and more clear that this woman is a misguided child desperate to cling to whatever fame she can get, I find myself feeling more and more sad for her. One day the fame will be gone and that’s going to be a very depressing time for her. Someone needs to step up and tell her life is not all about cameras and headlines. They need to help her understand that selling her sole to have her picture in magazines is not worth it. What has be so worried? First, the fact that she’s signed on to appear on some reality show about celebrity couple’s therapy. Who is honestly surprised there are troubles in this union? More than that though, I’m worried that Courtney has openly admitted she’s considering the various porn offers she’s gotten now that she’s legal. Once she goes down that road, there’s no turning back.

I have never wavered in my love of Lindsay Lohan although I have to admit to being more than a little worried about her from time to time. As absolutely everyone knows, she’s had her fair share of troubles but I’m believing more and more every day that those troubles are really behind her. Just look at her. She’s even starting to look like the Lindsay Lohan I fell in love with back in the “Mean Girls” days. She looks healthier than she has in a long time and looks happier as well. I only hope things are going as well as they appear to be. She still has some legal drama to contend with but I really think she can get through it all and make it back to the top if she works hard and focuses on keeping herself on the straight and narrow. I’m rooting for her.

You might not believe this, but the girl in these photos from Woodland Hills is Amanda Bynes. Remember Amanda TV shows like “The Amanda Show”, “All That” and “What I Like About You” and movies like “Big Fat Liar”, “What A Girl Wants”, “She’s the Man”, “Hairspray” and most recently (one of my favorites), “Easy A”? What happened to this girl? Sure she looks kinda cute here but this isn’t the Amanda I’m used to seeing. I don’t have a problem with a woman playing around with her look but when you consider the changes along side her legal problems (the DUI and hit and run allegations are especially troubling) you might get a picture of a girl who is in need of help. Get help before things get worse. I don’t want to see Amanda go the way of so many young women before her. Maybe I’m worrying about nothing but when police get involved on a regular basis, it might be time to reconsider your recreational activities.
